A Little bit petty I know, but the cig lighter no longer works after I shorted it. Checked the fuses in the footwell and none are blown. The funny thing is that everything else still works including the illumination for the ashtray. Any ideas. Mark

OK, fixed the huuuge vacuum leak (thanks to Andy Duff on the phone blowing down hoses ), and now the AAC is controlling the idle (disconnecting it, the idle drops ~50rpm).. But when opening the throttle any faster than very very slow, the revs drop almost to the point of dying, before shooting back up (dangerous in the wet ).. Anyone have any further ideas? Oh yeah, forgot to say - the reason I want to fix this hesitation asap, is that the clutch cable snapped in the Renault last night - so now I have no choice but to use the Z... and it scares me when it decides to hesitate like that.. Thanks.. Az [This message has been edited by aaronjb (edi…

Guys as you know I have been around zeds for some years now, and more so of recent months having started Zed world etc. Point is I have got close up (steady!) with the underside of a fair few cars now and the rust levels are becoming a concern of mine and for the UK spec owner cars especially. Some years ago when grey import bullshit was prevalent and the motor industry were condeming imports for their poor spec comparison and poor parts availablity and indeed that imports where not undersealed so not suitable for this country unless done. Now this is by no way a put down just an observation but out of say every 10 cars I become involved with 6 will have a r…

Hi guys, I wasn't careful enough yesterday (or I was too fast) and I ended up with a scratched drivers side door and no drivers side mirror (it's in like a million pieces right now). I can drive with the door dented but I badly need the mirror. I live in Poland and I'm DESPERATE do get one. Does anyone have a spare for sale? If it was from a Pearl White car I'd be jumping up and down with joy. Also, I have a question. I haven't taken a good look at it yet, but I assume the whole mirror assembly is held to the door with two big Philips screws and it consists of the mirror and the whole outside triangular metal piece the mirror is attached to. …
