Oh the joys of a UK spec zed. More Welding to do then!

The switch for the passenger window on the drivers side wasnt working, so I thought "no problem, ill get another". I replaced it and it still doesnt work. The passenger side switch works fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I got my first Z last weekend – a manual TT in an aftermarket cosmic blue! I'm absolutely loving it so far, just noticed a couple of oddities. Firstly, when I boost sometimes it is super smooth but other times it really judders. Like a hesitation, and I think I can hear it backfire (hard to tell as it has a muffler). Does anyone have any ideas what could cause something like this? It strikes me odd that it happens sometimes and not others. Secondly, I've noticed a judder from between 40–60mph. From what I've read on the forums, this is quite common, and a misaligned prop shaft is to blame? Thanks!

Need help installing and setting up an apexi safc. I have the diagrams etc and could install it myself, but anyone able to help set it up ? This is only a temp measure, the car will be going to Noz for mapping once I have stuck some new bits on it and tidied the body a little :) cheers Ross

Parked up in N16 around 11.00 this morning... looked clean with nice rims. Had the Mrs and her dad in the car, so could only take a quick reverse for a second look.

On the left hand side of the engine bay bear the front, green pipe going to a brass block with a nipple on it. I have some rust behind it which I need to cut out and weld up, what does this pipe do and can I remove it?

Is there a solid reliable way to identify tt injectors over NA? After this mess over the NA engine I want to ensure I've got what I think I've got. I know what colour they should be but as you likely know they fade/change colour. I've looked into flow testing them to be sure but this works out at £21+postage+vat per injector which soon adds up, il go that way if I must but I thought there may be a printed code etc?

Hi guys, do the Twinz make the skirts on their Red 2+2 Demo? I get the impression that they make the Black Underskirt. Can anyone tell me what make they are?? Kaminari maybe? Thanks

Right Lads & Ladetts of the club, another coilover question situation. Currently fitted to my LWB TT are HKS Coilovers, The rears are sitting on the adjusting cup but there is no other way to adjust except compress the spring then adjust which probably means removing and getting the heights done properly. I have also got a set of Tein street Adjustable coilovers EDFC that ive had for a while that i bought off a member on here that have done the rounds. So what would you fit between these 2 sets?? It has been a few years since I had the engine out on my car... Read up on engine removal guides and have a question. Why do I have to remove the fan, drivebelts, loosen alternator, ac compressor?

Since buying my Brembo GTR calipers, I'm obviously doing a complete rebuild on them, but I'm having trouble deciding on what colour to do them. I personally can't stand anything other than neutral colours, so black, silver, grey and anywhere in between. I had thought about getting them done silver with black or grey lettering in a high gloss....but not too sure about that. Another choice would be to do them a high gloss metallic grey with a silver lettering, similar to the 370z Nismo calipers - but with a higher more detailed shine. Or....I have considered a shadow-chrome effect....but not too sure if this is cheesy or not. It's not an 'in-yer-f…

Does anyone know where the best/cheapest place is to get these bushes, Nissan call them inner transverse link bushes. I am getting a bit confused trying to find the correct item. Zcentre don't seem to list them and MJP are out of stock. Searching online seems to state they are the same as 200sx ( which I'm not quite sure I believe), if so, why is it that the ones I think are correct for 300zx are about £80 and 200sx ones are about £30? if this link works... http://www.driftworks.com/pair-of-nissan-front-lower-arm-bushes.html It states lower down the page that these will fit standard R32 arms, are these compatible? I have J-spec TT if it makes any difference.

Been working on the car recently, including replacing the radiator, and then today (3 rd day s use) water has been coming out of the plastic vents at the feet of the passenger where hot/ cold air should be , what's going on. Just about to order a new wiring loom for the engine, which is straight forward enough and add a knock sensor. Should I order a new transmition harness? If so do I order a manual one or auto manual conversion? The car is being converted.

As the zed will be painted hopefully in the next few weeks I thought I would pick brains on parts. Service costs etc. What would full brakes cost and suspension. Not really looking at high end stuff yet but reasonable priced then I will build up from there as for the moment I just want my car on the road.

Hi I'm having trouble getting the right rear tie rod ends I've bought a pair but the size and thread on both ends are different my z is a 1996 with electric hicas I was told thay were all the same but there not, does anyone no where I can get the right ones?

Hey guys Just a query like when I first start the car up and dip the clutch etc it feels strong... The bite is half way let's say when the car has warmed up the pedal feels like it goes further up, the bite is at the top and when pedal goes near the floor it feels spongy any ideas? Air in the system? Cheers :)
