Mine has possibly gone, what one shall I replace it with? I've Been looking at some of the aluminium ones on eBay, any recommendations?

Last thing that's really bothering me, ideally I'd like to get them replaced at some stage but can't afford to drop €200 on roof trims just yet. Is there any kind of textured paint that would do well as a cheap fix? I've thought of just going over the bald batches with Bumper Black but that would probably look cheap.

As stated in the "What did you do to your Zed" post, I'm at the stage where the engine is being pulled out in the coming weeks, The car has always been in line for a full respray in a Candy or Pearl Blue but as I've just gone mad buying all the engine gubbins and a few other surprises my funds are running low. I've decided to just paint the engine bay while its empty and I can then do a full respray on the body later on. My question is.... What colour / style should I do the Engine Bay??? for example, should I paint it in a Gloss or Satin?? Black / Grey / Cream / Blue?? Any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed:blush: Thanks.. Richie

where is the best place to get new rear wheel bearings from ?

Hey guys. The link above shows my zed at 0.9 bar of boost... However you can see that the boost needle waves from 1 bar to 0.8. The car also feels like... fast then slower then fast then slower again. At stock boost with the ebc off there is no problem. Currently ran at 0.6 bar on way home and didn't see a problem but it might be because I couldn't use boost much :) what could this be? Fault with boost controller? Vacuum leak? Open to answers :D

Hi all, 1st off, i bought my z last year off a friend as a project, it had been stolen from him a long time ago and hot wired, been sat for 9 year till i bought it from him. Ive been working on the ignition and have rejoined all the wires (a temporary measure until i no all is correct ) But seem to be getting no power at all to the ignition, many other bits work (lights, electric seats etc) but turn the key and nothing no dash lights, no pump noises nothing, check fuses and relays that i can find but all seem ok, anyone had this issue on a project? There is a 2 day meet at York Raceway on Jul 4th /5th with RWYB time available on both days. I thought I might go on the Saturday for a few runs. It is the same weekend as Jap Show at Santa Pod but TBH I am tired of spending all day at shows like that to only get 3/4 runs. York will not be as busy and RWYB people are well catered for at York. I know its not what most members do with their cars but you are welcome to join me. The launch surface is good for road cars/tyres so it would be an ideal weekend for any "first timers" to give it a go. Put a s/h replacement fuel pump in my UK TT z32 the other day as mine was whining, car runs alot better now but I have a fuel gauge problem. I had 1/4 of a tank when I replaced the pump, when I put the new pump in and reconnected the battery and started her up she went up to 3/4 full. Now as I've been driving it its been going up... I'm now showing over a full tank. I put 25 litres in and it hasn't moved. Any ideas? is a jdm fuel pump sender unit different to a uk one?

If my car had a full timing belt kit fitted in 2009 and has done only a few hundred miles before getting hydro locked, would the Pulleys and Tensioner be ok to use on the new engine or do these parts deteriorate over time?? Any advice guys?? Thanks.. Rich

Got lots off to get to Hycas hose fittings! This is my problem! Looking to the Left of engine down at the PAS! The clearance here is 1.5 inches or 35mm! What tool do I need to get this 24mm nut out! There on very tight! As u see got the top one off with my torque reach, Any ideas please

I have a 1991 manual UK spec tt, it's almost hit 70k miles with good service history, I have owned the car for nearly 2 years, in this time I have been trying to get things up to 100% e.g all the rear set up tie bars etc... Anything that looked slightly corroded I replaced, bodywork wise the car is in good condition apart from the 1 rear arch witch is just staring to show signs off corrosion. ( I am looking for some 1 to do the work but most seem reluctant ) Upgraded parts wise it is standard other than a cat back exhaust hks air filter and upgraded intercoolers, I have groves updated discs coming in the next few we…

Trying to value my slicktop, not going into why but the concept of selling has come up, It's a 95 twin turbo manual slicktop Most people know of it on here, n300 swb, Can you guys help me work what I should be asking for it. As zed prices seem all over the place. Has new Bridgestone tyres, 3" z1 catback and the front brake disc and pads replaced along with a few minor changes in my ownership, runs and drives well, only real fault is the odometer doesn't work. Cars at the bodyshop getting resprayed. They took the back bumper off and the inner panel which is behind and around the back and which attaches to the fuel filler neck is all rotten. Is it possible to fix it with a new part or is it a bodge job :'( hmm cant podt a pic. Will try when I get home. Only on my phone.

Well a conversation with Slick Pete at a recent track event put me in contact with a very helpful chap from Nissan. The reason was unrelated to what im about to say but during our email conversation I thought I would ask if he could help me find a vary rare thing indeed. Hi Guys, I am in the middle of changing my PAS pump as it is leaking from the front. All the power hoses are in good order. My Q is when fitting the new one & the hoses that attach where can I get the gasket & washers from? Can or should I also use Blue sealing compound? Any advice please it is a PITA job!

Hi guys as title says 4th fuse on the top row keeps blowing it's the 10amp beside the 20.. Now from what I can see on translations it's say RR wiper... Mmmmmm I don't think the vert has one some how. so anyone shed a light on this thing? I've disconected clock cig lighter mirror control switches from center consul just going through process of elimination. Also at one point the heated mirror switch on the control pod was permanently on and was draining the battery anything to give me a few pointers guys thanks in advance. Trev
