Trying to replace the misserable bulb holder in the 3rd brakelight which sits behind the perspex panel. Nissan for some reason put a wierd bulb holder behind them which has bulbs facing at different angles, so you get areas which look really dim on it. Those that have them know what I mean. Because of the size restrictions and the bulb angles, replacing the stock bulbs with LEDs can't be done. BUT, I've been pointed in the general direction of a company called clearcorners.com over in the states. Has anyone used them before? Apparently, they can remanufacture your existing bulb holders and turn the strip into an LED array. http://www.clearcorners.…

Been advised that this is a great firm that offer a while u wait service on ZX prop shafts, they also tend to keep the centre bearings in stock so no need to worry about that and they replace the UJ's with serviceable ones... Will be taking a prop shaft to these guys next week and will advise on cost / service etc... web link as below :) http://www.reco-prop.com/

Around a week or so ago i put my accelerated hard causing my zed to shoot the dip stick out and spray oil everywere. Also to cause a vast amount of bluish smoke to come from exhaust. When i say vast, its BAD!!!!! After speaking to various people it was decided that psv valves may be blocked. I changed them. No difference. First the smoke was oil and now its just smoke from unburnt fuel. I first thought piston rings gone but now its running on 5 cyl. Looking at the plugs one was wet with fuel. Could this be the dreaded burnt out valve or is there other things to check. cheers all

I have planes for changing the original cooler on my Zed to a larger one, to achieve lower oil temp while driving on hot days and track... Is there any problems of mounting a too big cooler? My goal for the next summer is 550hp, and therefore a bigger cooler... Kind regards Kenneth

Due to the number of times people ask in this section "where is this connector or that connector etc" would it not be an idea to copy it to this forum and make it sticky?

This may be a daft question but where is the backup battery normally located in a car alarm siren, is it in the siren unit itself? If so, are they usually replaceable or are they a rechargeable non-serviceable fixed unit? I can't see how I can open the siren unit on my Scorpion alarm as it appears sealed. Cheers.

Hi all.. Noticed some hesitation/stutter under heavy load around about 5k revs onwards over the past couple of weeks and i think its getting worse. I've got it into my head that its the spark plugs for some reason, i dont know when they were last changed anyway so will need to get them done i think.. I had had it in my n/a MR2 and i think that turned out to be the Rotor Arm, Dizzy Cap and spark plugs..could that be the same problem as my 300 TT? '90 Auto? Thanks Ed

My recon prop arrived this morning and I'm about to book the Zed in at the same place that recently sorted out my suspension/wheel alignment. These guys are supposed to be the best local performance car people, specialising in fast japanese but particularly evo's and supras. They are also authorised Tein dealers. Whilst changing my brakes last weekend I had a look at my front shocks (tein). Now, according to the garage in question. The front shocks are adjusted as high as they'll go (they even sugested the suspension could be the wrong ones for the car) yet you cannot get your hand in between the tyre and wheelarch. Anyhow, looking at the shock, the height …
