any ideas on a manual box? Sometimes when Im trying to change gear and im accelerating quickly, it will not go into 2nd or 3rd very quickly - I can be losing 1-2 seconds trying to get it into gear. just wondering if it could just need bleeding, or syncro is going etc etc etc. Cheers

After being on the rollers today, and only getting 253bhp at the fly, I was informed that the car was running really really rich, more so than any other there. I was told be a few of the chaps to clean the Air Flow Meter, but before I attempt this I was wondering if anyone could give me a run down on what to do...and how to do it, so I don't balls up. I always thought there was a bad case of fumes comming into the car...now I understand why! :rolleyes: Thanks

White zed, I think it was L***GLO, coming up to traffic lights heading towards Leominster on the A417. I was off to Swindon to collect mine, did flash but you were talking to your bird and I wasn't in a zed.

Went to a local breaker today and found this Z for sale Looks complete UK car ? I tried to buy the rear Zorsts but hes not breaking :cry: Wants £1300 Starts runs and cuts out apparently after a few seconds ?

i can move the hicas arm up and dont about an inch (where it attaches to the hub) clearly its fooked. is it the ball joint bit or the bush inside or both? with this cause my rear wheel problem. when i feel the rear wheels it feels as tho the wheel bearing has gone. i have a video, where can i upload it?

does these prevent any air getting to the rad?

ok i know these cars are not cheap to run, but this being my first zed i am wondering what sort of mpg i should get round town. i put 30 quid in the other night and it was gone after 85 - 90 miles. is this about right. that would give me approx 15 mpg?

Just got back it was great to see everyone. I was nervous about letting my car go on the rack as it were but I'm pleased with the result. It was great to see so many (13) Zeds in the car park It was bloody nice following eveyone down to the pub afterwards for more banter. By the way who was I following only I nearly went into the back of you mmmm Note to oneself get those brakes seen too. Did you see the looks on face's as we all pulled into the pub LOL Hellraiser very nice to meet your dad by the way. Well worth the money and the Surrey Rolling Road guys were pure gold.

Hi guys, Another BOV question... Ive got some blitz bovs on hard pipes, I Dont want to take the recirc valves off but do i still need to bung the pipes on the recirc valves up or can i leave them as they are and bung up the small vacuum pipe ontop of the recirc? Cheers Rob

I've just fitted some very nice clear front indicator lights on my import Zed. I've fitted chrome indicator bulbs but can't figure out what the second (outside) bulb is for. On the moulding it states '12V 21W' for the bulb which is the same power that was in the 'old' lights, but I can't find any way for this bulb to light, either on the old lights or the new. I've tried every light switch I can find and tried them all with the ignition off and on but they still won't light. Can anyone tell me what these lights are for and how they can be switched on? silver zed in mall near mine and a black zed parked up near market dropping mate off.

i think one of my cylinder heads is new or reconditioned. after i pulled the engine i noticed it is considerably newer than the other one. the camshafts are new aswell. why would this be and where would you get a reconditioned head from?

where can i get the plastic clips that go under the kick plates. a few of mine have bust over the years

just bought some front discs 280mm and the're too small ,dont go far enough into the caliper so the pads over lap the edge of the disc. the old discs are 295 mm and fit the caliper perfect. the calipers look standard with no relocation kit.every one lists 280mm as the right size. is it possible for any of the skyline calipers to bolt straight on to accomatate a bigger disc?? any ideas?? thanks in advance
