It's pretty light, but I want to know if there are any companies that can buff out scratches on polished alloy. Well, it'll need a bit more work than that. But I think I read somewhere that there's a few companies that'll come out to your car and carry out light repair work on wheels. Can anyone recommend anyone? Thanks

Remeber Spokey-Dokeys...? Colloured plastic things you fitted to the spokes on your push-bike that would slide up and down and make a racket as you went along.... I think they came free with a breakfast cerial or something... Well I had my reconditioned prop fitted yesterda. All the vibrations have gone  but now it sounds like i have spokey-dokeys on. The noise is consistent with road speed and sometimes goes away when you dip the clutch. Any ideas what it could be??

oil everywhere! hi everyone 1st message, new member! noticed oil coming out of area below cambelt covers. suspect it could be by crank pulley. havent stripped it down yet just looking for a bit of advice. could a oil seal have blown due to high oil pressure due to blocked psv valves i noticed white smoke coming out of my passenger zorst. abit comes out when you first accelerate on start up. it then happens when you boot it. but only a little. car is an import. 1990.if its worth replacing psv valves wheres the best place to go. also are uk spec oil seals the same as j spec. wheres the best place to get them QUICK! be gentle on me!!!!

but only on front tyres :slap: so bought some Falkens from thier website but they didn't have any 452 had to get ZE512's (are they any good ?) Anyway got them fitted yesterday and she passed with no problems. Only thing that worries me is the inside wear on the drivers side. The tread was ok (albeit illegal) but the reason she failed on that tyre is because it had strange wear on the inner edge with the wire banding showing  . As you look at the tyre the outer adge was normal but the inner edge had worn sort of inwards. I couldn't take a picture as I didn't have me camera, I'll try and draw it on the PC as this crappy laptop doesn't have paint or anything. Anyway…

Hope you fellow zeda's can help me , I have a 1988 uk spec z31 which doesnt want to go above 110 Mph ... Now im thinking does my car have a limiter as i believe jap imports were restricted to 112 mph without the delimiter that is available to buy.. But mines a uk spec ? has anyone heard of a uk spec car tha has a speed limiter on it ?? Because the delimeter chips you can buy are made for jap imports and not uk cars as the chip also converts the kph to mph reading aswell... as my car is a uk car it already reads mph .. So basically i need top know if uk cars are speed limited and if so what implications will i have putting a delimiter on without connecting the kph to mph …

He is a really nice guy called Dave who has just bought my zed. I will still be on here all the time, just I am going in a new zed direction now. Dave came to test drive the car while it was on ebay - and is a real enthusiast. I couldn't imagine my zed going to anyone else, so we I ended the auction early for him. So say hello, I know he will be a welcome member of the club. Just be gentle with him in his first few days so we don't scare him off! (what am I saying? you guys were never gentle with anyone!) lol

i have just fitted a new engine into my zed that has tomi race pistons etc, i was having trouble with it flooding with 555 injectors in as it hadnt been mapped, i refitted standard injectors and it started fine but it idles very irratically and sometimes cuts out when i rev it. I have tried changing the tps, cleaning injector and coil pack connectors (including the temp sensor) and changing the maf sensor but all of which have no effect. The only thing that makes it any better is if i pull off a small vacuum pipe on the n/s of the engine, about half way between the front and back but this causes it to idle very high but smoothly. Any help greatly appreciated as i am dying…

As above, I.m attempting to put the four large Urethane bushes in the rear subframe. I have the bright red versions which came as part of a huge two card collection of bushes. Main problem is the instructions were missing(dont ask!!) So any links, help would be appreciated or a copy of the instructions would be better. Basically I dont know how much of the old bushes to remove???? And how you actually do it. Anyone??? Please. Oh I know you need a press to put the new ones in... someone else is doing that for me.
