Hello mate, been looking at your pics but can't see if you have the turbo pedal or the n/a. Trying to work out the room there'll be behind the r/h rocker cover. Oh, and how did you sort out the clutch cylinders, I read that you weren't getting enough travel on the slave? Cheers.

As above really. If, say for instance, I was taking a TT engine and auto box from an Import, and transplanting it into something else, could I be able to get it to run ok ? Would it still need the ECU ? the PTU, the CAS ?? How would the timing, injectors work ?? Can the ECU be used and modified, or is this beyond normal boundaries ?? Just an idea thats floating around in my head at the moment, but a serious one at that ! :rolleyes: Can do what I am thinking of with a normal carb set up, but looking at something a bit more, kinda different. Has anyone replaced a rear quarter on a z32? I have been looking around body panel sites but cant find anywhere that do replacement rear quarter panels. Does anyone know of anywhere that sell ZX panels ? I found both o/s and n/s rear quarter panels on e-bay..... for a z31 :( Please have a look at pics of damaged quarter @ http://dannysamworth.tripod.com/zx_rear_quarter Any help or suggestions would be much apriciated. Guys with profec controllers what sort of settings are you running now you have had chance to mess with the controllers for a few months? I have had mine but am finding setting it up difficult. I have yet to hit 14psi and at high rpm the boost always trims back! I am obviously doing something wrong, but was after a few rough settings to tweak from! Cheers

Does anyone know if you can retrofit an airbag steering wheel onto a non-airbag '94 UK TT auto? I know it's a long shot but am kinda hoping that for this late a model, you paid effectively paid for the wheel and the wiring loom etc was the same for an airbag and non-airbag model... Ta, David

Ive just replaced the front bottom suspension arms, the old ones were badly cracked at the tie bar mounting points. I found that when bolting the tie bars back to the arms they didnt tighten down flush and I think the reason is its had polly bushes fitted with absolutely no give, hence the reason the arms fooked up in the first place. Now im looking to replace the bushes with a softer type, unfortunately looking at the traders sites it only seems to be the the hard polly bushes that are available, does anyone know of a supplier of uprated bushes that still have a bit of give in them

Hi all, Just bought a j spec 300zx tt and iv'e got a problem with the boost. The car only boosts to 6psi. I ran a diagnostics check and it came back code 55 all ok. Can it still run in safety mode with no error codes After a good thrash the car gets very hot with steam/smoke coming from the back of the engine with a burning smell. Do i have a boost leak so the turbos getting hot working overtime Cheers...steve...

hi all ive got an aftermarket oil pressure gauge that isnt working! it was already on the car when i got, was just wondering where the senders are usually located do they use the same as stock or will there be an aftermarket sender???? giz a hand guys.

just removed plenum as its sold. are these normally sold with or without throttle bodies? also what is the 2 hard pipes that go into the bottom of the plenum. both of mine where full of what looks like burnt oil that has went hard

Hi there, When I bought my Z it had been fitted with a Sony head unit, presumably in the UK when was imported. I've just bought a JVC DVD head unit, and went to fit it yesterday to find the following... Instead of wiring the cables from the car into an ISO block, whoever fitted it wired straight into a Sony connector, which is no use for my new JVC unit! Does anyone know if there is an adapter to plug from the Sony connector to an ISO so I can plug that straight into the ISO connector on the JVC head unit? Or should I get the wires from the car rewired into an ISO block? If that's the case it'll be a trip to a car audio place I reckon... Cheers, Christ…

Since having my car converted from Auto to Manual I've noticed by Speedometer is out by about 20mph. In addition to this I now have a problem where the needle doesn't move at all and then bursts into life when it feels like it. Do I need to change the clock and once I have will I still have the 20mph error? It was suggested that when the gearbox is changed the speedometer needs to be changed. Anyone know if this is true or can anyone shed some light on a potential fix please? Thanks in advance. Jonno.

Just a few pics of the stuff i did yesterday Fitted a few bits of smithys stuff, i IAA valve replacement and a fuel line kit. still got the caron fibre door strips, and the polished throttle cover to go on. also got anapexi air filter and a groundin kit, not fitting them yet though as the car needs to be resprayed and dont want the nice shiney stuff getting dirty. As the title suggests I am looking to buy a set of 99 spec rear lights. Where is the best place to go? Should I buy from a trader? If so, who is the cheapest? Has anyone bought them from the states? does it work out much cheaper? were there any problems with this route? I was trying to think of even more questions LOL but I think this is enough for a start...
