Seems I have a small coolant leak, thinks it looks like ater pump... how can i check how much coolant has been lost ? need to top up and get in top be repaid.

Hi, just recieved my decat system that i got from e bay (must say seems excellent). I was only expecting straight decat pipes to fit to existing downpipes but it has the pre cats as well - cant fit one without the other as the new pre cats are longer. Seems an ok job apart form the upper 2 bolts that bolt to the turbo,s - any advice how to get to these.

Been looking at Bentley-Harris ConvoShield for a bit of enhancement. http://cableorganizer.com/convoshield/ seem to be the only stockist. And that is a picture of Bee Gee Vinz's engine bay on their site, did you get a prototype discount?!?? hiya guys my car is standard at the moment twin turbo uk wit an auto, luv autos lol but after get the car the way i want it its time to upgrade but what power can the uk spec auto take?? regards andy

is the alternator the same in all models? specifically will my auto NA import 1995 alternator fit and work properly in my manual tt uk 1990 car?

Right after the close brush with Zed toubles (http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=79243) a few saturdays ago I am having problems with the cooling system again! This time I was driving back to the office and I noticed the temp gauge had rocketed, and steam was starting to come from the engine so I pulled over and popped the hood to masses of smoke. I've managed to get it to the office (I was driving through London traffic so not exactly rocketing it along). Soon to be lifting engine and wondered on same mounts? or 2 x urethane 1 x nismo(gearbox) or solid mounts? Running 555's bigger turbos. Any recommendations?

Help PLEASE !!! .......... I had Zworx collect my car (to replace head gaskets etc) but cant get Micky to answer my calls for a progress report (or indeed any calls even from other people trying!!!).........I am more than a little concerned about getting my car back and it owes me nearly 14k (alot of mods and very very quick!!). I took the Zed for her 2nd attempt MOT today and she's passed! :D Whilst running to and from the MOT station, I think I found why my new tubs aren't producing any positive boost! I have a huuuge boost leak (constant pssst on idle) which seems to be under the passenger side of the plenum. I'm guessing that a pipe has popped off as the plenum was only recently refitted... Any ideas what pipe this may be and is it likely to be repairable with plenum in place? If I can get this sorted by the weekend, then maybe I can take her to the rolling road day after all :dance: Many thanks for any ideas! CheerZ Steve :)

Evening all. I bought a pair of turbo hard pipes not so long ago and had blitz bovs mounted to them and I just need abit of help on what to use to bung the top hole of the Recirc with? Once i know this I can get them put on :) Cheers Rob

Hello folks, I was hoping someone may be able to help point me in the right direction with regards to bring my 300zx to the UK. Currently, its in New Zealand. It is a 1992 with a 1995 jap motor & transmission in it, done roughly about 24000kms. Its fairly standard, cept it don't have any emmission controls. I've done a bit of tuning of the ECU, put some 'nice' turbos in it and wrote myself a new chip for it, but have left it with a friend with only a mines ECU in it so they don't thrash it too much... Just been looking into this as i am looking to lose weight on the car (me as well :tongue: ) Been onto the wheel place which i got my wheels from and the new wheels are 2kg's lighter than my old wheels which in rolling radius works out to 14/1 so if you work it all out ie 2kg savings per wheel times 4 = 8kg savings on wheels then times that by 14 = 112kg rolling weight saving which i would imagine would make quite a big difference :cool: Some bugger buy my wheels :nana2: Mike

Hey all, I finally got a 300ZX TT last week and only 2 hours after picking her up the engine died :cry: It's 1 of 3 things, oil leak, water leak or just over heated! Let me tell you what happend!! Coming home on the M1 it just lost power forcing me to pull over! Once i stopped, the engine was smoking like a right ******* (white smoke) so to be on the safe side i called the fire brigade! Fortunatly she wasn't on fire but once they cooled most of the engine down they had a look at the oil dipstick which was bone dry, this convincing us all it was the oil and therefore the engine was ****ed! Once a recovery guy came and took it to a local…

Wow looks like my suspenny will eventually be set up soon as the KYB AGX (same as nismo S-tune) dampers will soon be fitted to compliment my poly bushes, pillow ball upper mounts and eibach springs all-round. I also have white-line anti-roll bars front and rear so...... Anyone running a set-up similar? If so what settings do you advise for the KYB's (front and rear)? My driving habits are fast twisty B roads lots of 200 miler motorway sprints and end of this month the nurburgring :nana2: so setting suggestions much appreciated. Chris

well i bought a body kit for my zed and i was wondering how do i put on this rear bumper its not like a full bumper dose it just slide on over my stock one ? and what about the side skerts how do those go on kit came with no instructions
