Hi all, Iv'e got a problem with my 90 auto TT...When i accelerate wide open throttle the auto box doesn't attempt to change up until 7500 rpm and isn't able to complete the shift. It drops back to 7000 rpm then revs to 7500 rpm and tries to upshift again in a continuous cycle, sometimes it can manage to upshift sometimes not. This happens 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd but is ok 3rd to 4th..It shifts fine during normal driving..i did notice the previous owner has overfilled the gearbox oil..anyone got any ideas cheers....steve

Put my first one on a Z32 windscreen today :D (You know, the little credit card sized 300zx.co.uk advertising cards sent out to us) Well I was just walking across ASDAs car park here in Grantham, this afternoon, and what should I see, but a Black JSpec Z32 ;) (you wasn't expecting me to say that, was you? ) So I continued to my Z, got a card out of the centre console, and then realised that I didn't have a pen, and hadn't already written my forum name on :headvswal So I placed it on his windscreen anyway. Lets hope he/she come on-line and takes a look :D

Having worked out that my heads are fooked, i have to take the engine out to get to them. Can this be done with the gearbox still attached, as i started by removing the intake plenium and it took ages. Twin turbo, auto. Any advice would be helpful as i plan to remove the engine this weekend, and am not looking forward too it, but it has to be done in order to get the zed back on the road. Stu

It seems that many of you guys seem so keen on a slicktop Zed. Other than the fact they are quite rare is there any other reason? The fact you can take the roof off was one of the main deciding factors for me to have a Zed over an RX7, Supra or GTO. I also had a T-bar MR2 tubs before so felt I could not let the "roof off" thing go. So go on.....why???

Anyony know if there is a right and wrong way around to fit them ? They appear to be 'handed' and one end is around 1.5mm wider than the other between the bearings, not much but I'm just not sure. BTW, they are Skyline BRN32 and Z32 compatible. CheerZ Paul.

Hi Peeps, Just fitting a new ariel to my zed and just wondering if anyone out there can confirm the wiring scheme on the original arial. I've got a green wire and a green/purple wire coming out of the unit into a connector.I assume the green/purple one is the live but can anyone confirm this so that i don't start blowing things up please. Cheers Ian

Hi all, just joined as I have recently bought a 1990 Jap import auto TT. Have read many threads about dodgy oil pressure sender, it appears mine is also. Can anyone tell me where it is. I have downloaded an online manual which shows it above the oil filter. I changed the oil the other day and saw no sign of it. Any assistance appreciated.

I have just noticed that the splined part of the prop shaft that goes into the gear box is keyed, ie it will go in one of two ways. I rememeber mickyb saying that there is a right way and a wrong way to mount the prop shaft but does this just apply to the stock shaft as its balenced to be mounted one way? When i fit my new single piece shaft can i just mount it either way?
