Hello , My current tyre sizes are 225/45/17 frnt , 245/40/17 on the rear... Just bought some 18 inch RX-8 alloys they fit with spacers, what size tyre does peeps recommend on these ? i think theyre 7.5 or 8 J width i will update later ... Any help appreciated ! Thanks

Yesturday I took my zed tt on a 300 mile round trip and found out it seems to have an electrical problem around 80+ mph the door light on the dash flickers and so does the interior light at the same time I can hear a clicking of a relay on the pasenger side rear also the hicas light came on which made the steering heavy which now works after switching engine off and on again, the millage counter stopped working but thats not just it on the way back the engine started to splutter not much but enough to wind me up! that went after a mile and came back later then went again and now my clifford alarm has stopped chirping to but still works with out the siren but that also com…

went to swz performance yesterday and they sorted my zed out so no longer in safety mode!!! now im looking to do a few performance mods induction chip and boost jets are all these safe to do or am i just asking for trouble? car is completely standard but well looked after anyone got any disaster stories or does everyone run these mods with no probs????

i noticed a problem with my cruise control light yesterday. I pushed the master switch a the first green light came on, i set my speed with the stearing wheel buttons and the second green light came on on the left of the wheel panel. when it was reset when pushin the brake extra the second light went off but when resumed or set at a different speed the second green light would come back on. i tried to reset the system by turning off the master switch and turning it back on again but it seems to be on or off when it feels like it. any advice guys?

hi guys, i need a bit of advice, firstly, I have to option of acquiring either r34 or r33 GTR Brembo calipers, is there any difference in performance between the two? if there is no performance difference between the two, which is easier to fit? from what i have read so far, the r34 brembos need the mounting holes drilled out, but are r33 calipers a direct bolt on? do rear brembo calipers fit the stock zed rear discs? are they too a straight swap? if i get upgraded brake hoses too, do i buy 300zx ones or skyline ones or are they both the same? (sorry to sound thick) I will need to buy discs and pads too, which ones are best? thanks!

I've had two Zed's since June this year but, despite searching long and hard, I have been unable to find where Nissan have hidden the cup holders! Come on someone, put me out of my misery, where the hell are they? ;) Dave

I know it's been done may times, but who are you with? I am currently with Carole Nash, the Chaucer Classic policy last year was £275 FC for up to 5000 miles pa. Their renewal has come in at £375 - quite an increase. I have just called Adrian Flux and Houghtons this morning. The same (Chaucer) policy with them was £420 and £637 respectively....... What's going on :confused: I'm 36 with a clean licence and have only had 1 claim in 19 years :rant: Richard :smw:

JUST GOT HOME FROM REMOVING MY ENGINE THIS EVENING!! :nana2: spoke to my local very good nissan dealer (unusual i know) about supplying det sensor and was quoted 175 for it! :confused: is this right, if so is there anywhere cheaper to buy proper one? also they are having a problem finding wiring loom to sensor on micro-fiche, does anyone have part no for loom and approx price?? what torque setting should sensor bolt be as i understand too tight or loose will cause sensor to read wrong?? regards steven

hello. Is fitting a short shifter an easy job or hard??? is it a job i can do from the top of the car (cockpit) or do i need to work from underneath it? Does anyone have any links for a site that explains it or anyone possibly done it before? Cheers.

Today i was driving my Zed and all of a sudden my Hicas,Light's came on and will not go off. My battery light is partily Illuminated and the stock boost gauge is sticking at -7 even if you boot it?? My aftermarket boost gauge is working fine and shows no probs. I have checked all my lights and they are fine! The alternator is charging ok with 13.9 volts at idle. My Hicas fluid is at full . Fuses are ok and earthing points are ok as well as battery connections :confused: Found this post above but was never solved from what i could see or the resulting problem was not posted.. For sale in QD. Not only the full kit which comes with three washes worth of shampoo and filter... It also comes with a full size filter and bottle of shampoo too - both good for another ten washes. All for a tenner! If I was skint / had more time I'd buy loads and sell the full kits and shampoo/filters seperately on eBay. edit - maybe I could hawk them out of the back of the auld Datsun at shows?

Hi, Just finished cleaning/repairing/replacing/re-fitting the AII/Air Reg etc, and now she starts like new and runs like Paula Radcliffe however... Now I can't get my keys outta my ignition as that little black button solenoid thingy is not doing it's stuff!!! Could I have disturbed something whilst in the general area of the engine bay that would cause this to happen (connection etc) or is this a complete co-incidence do we think. Car has been laid-up for 4 weeks prior to today's burst of activity so... As ever your guidance appreciated - couldn't find nowt via the search! Cheers AndyGP

Hi there When I disconnect the yellow connector of the valve, my car just dies out. Tried to raise revs by turning the screw on the valve but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas??
