Hi,

 

Just finished cleaning/repairing/replacing/re-fitting the AII/Air Reg etc, and now she starts like new and runs like Paula Radcliffe however...

 

Now I can't get my keys outta my ignition as that little black button solenoid thingy is not doing it's stuff!!!

 

Could I have disturbed something whilst in the general area of the engine bay that would cause this to happen (connection etc) or is this a complete co-incidence do we think. Car has been laid-up for 4 weeks prior to today's burst of activity so...

 

As ever your guidance appreciated - couldn't find nowt via the search!

OK - removed the steering wheel shroud and just manually touched/forced up the little solenoid lever and from then on it all works as advertised!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

It's just my Zed's way of saying - OI! Drive Me, dont leave me to rot in the garage pleeeeeze or else!!!!
