Ok my car with the Peru Bumber Please. I gave it a good go but gave the fook up

i have a UK TT, (well i don't actually know if it has turbos to be honest :smash: ) Anyway, the car was converted to a manual, i need to get a radiator asap (pretty urgent) and i need to know . . . do i get a manaul rad or does it have to be an auto, im sure i was told before that i can just get the manual one but i need to check

Ok I have to admit I have not done a lot about this problem as I have been on holiday. I intend to give it a good dose of looking at this weekend but thought I would ask again 1 more time. The heater does not get warm. Heater matrix is not bypassed Coolent level is spot on The car gets warm and registers on the gauge The aircon works(I know this means nowt but I thought I would throw it in) All suggestions welcome Cheers

Ok, so I took the rubbers out before the car was resprayed. I now want to clean the outer bits of the headlights, now that the bumper's off, but how do I take the headlights out? I see there are two bolts at the front, are there two bolts at the back...and if so, how the hell do you get to them? Ta

Hello can anyone help?? My auto box in my 91 twin turbo seems to click into slow mode? usually does this when cold if I select reverse and drive back the cars fine then sometimes the box makes a click then the car seems to struggle as if im going uphill this doesent last long but I am wondering if this is the start of something serious? the oil level is fine if anyone could help that would be great. Cheers... also does anyone know where I can download a free owners manual I havent sussed out how to use all the buttons in car! cheers again!!

Dear reader, I have now finally enquired about a '90 Auto 3000ZX TT that has been standing at a local garage for months. The car is in great condition but the salesman was quick to point out that slags had tried to steal some engine parts off the car a while ago. They tried to steal the turbos (luckily didn't), but the ECU and another part is missing. The problem is I don't know what the other part is called - or what it does. Here's a description and location? looking at the enigine from the front there are two steel water inlet and outlet pipes.Following these pipes to the left - right behind where they connect to the rubber pipes there is a silver square uni…

I am about to buy some wheels for my LWB Jspec TT. I know the rear wheels are 8.5 and the front are 8 for my OEMs. The wheels I am getting only come in 8's. Do I need to get spacers for the rear wheels and will there be a major problem with using 8's all around. Thanks Konrad

i take it that my Jap ZX takes H3c headlight bulbs... I went to halfords and a local car shop and couldn't find anything like it. So what's the best place to buy them, and is there a particular one that performs better than the others? Thanks. snx. p.s. need one asap, so would prefer nto to order from abroad, but would do if the quality was better etc..

Any suggestions? Bumper is off and car is SORN for the winter so now so I have plenty of time to complete any little jobs I should whilst I have this level of access. I am really just talking pipes/hose replacements here but I am open to suggestions of a more expensive nature :wack: I have had the full 60K service, and have changed/upgraded the lower rad pipes already. Bumper is off so that it can be modified to make the twin headlamps upgrade fit correctly, and to fit a splitter/change indicator setup and grill mesh etc. AndyGP

How do you check to see if the head gasket has gone in your car? Also is it all just wear and tear that causes this, i.e it'll happen on an old engine

on the drive in to work this morning someone T boned my zed! gutted as i was just getting her how i wanted after lots of £££ spent (same old story!) The girl that hit me went striaght over a stop junction and hit me square in the passenger side of the zed spinning me 270degrees and putting the back of my zed up the kerb (some going for a 106!) Il post some pics in a bit but basically from the front wheel arch to the middle of the rear wheel arch is now kind of 106 shaped! Sills bent (maybe chassis cant make it out from the mess!) , doors distroyed and the a pillar is broken! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( Im guessing they are going to rig…

My cruise control wont work now for some reason. The on /off switch works but it wont let me set the speed. Not sure if its coincedence or not but i recently pulled the plug for the annoying chime when you go ove rspeed limit. Is this related???

It lies. It comes on intermittently when the handbrake is clearly not on. Just started doing it the day before yesterday. Seems to be mainly set off by turning hard right. Turning left afterwards causes it to flick off again. I'm assuming it's a dodgy sensor or relay or something like that but just wanted to check that it couldn't be something more serious? The handbrake is working fine btw. Any help/suggestions much appreciated. Thanks, Bart

Guys, just picked meself up a little MX5 jap import as a bit of a run around, got to admit amazing little motor, just like driving a go kart! Anyway, its modded up slightly and it used to have a full Jamas stainless zorst system, still has the manifold but the old fella took it into Kwik-fit and had a standard put on and didnt retain the original box! Someone i know had this motor before him and i remember the backbox and it was luvly. Just wondering does anyone know where i could possibly pick one up from, im struggling to find any? Cheers Dan

Hi there, ive notced (and im sure every other zx owner has too) that when my headlights are on and you go to flash someone the dipped headlights switch off until you've finished flashing. ive done a search and found this problem asked once or twice before but with no replies with a solution. just wondered if anyone had found a way to keep the dipped lights on while flashing someone, and then obviously off when switching to main beam?? cheers, sean.

Hi does anyone know the cause of my hicas light coming on it only does it now and again, could it be low fluid level, or maybe a sensor there are no signs of leaks anywhere on my drive any advice would be great . many thanks :headvswal
