Right, I've just finished putting the plenum back together again and shoved a battery in it hoping to drive the bugger again! Only problem is the car isnt getting any power from the battery at all. I've tried 3 batteries already one of them being brand new and tested before I shoved it in and yet no electrics! Could it be that one of the cables I could have plugged up in the wrong place that could be the problem? Also it has a Cat 2 immobiliser on it.

Everything is now off ready to stick it on when it arrives, absolute ******* of a job, so much to remove just to get the lower plenum off. Slightly easier than getting the engine out but not much. I'd like to thank Syko for tech & moral support & special thanks to Ryan at Ztech for providing me with the challenge by leaving the fkin thing off last time he had the engine out - great work guys!!!

Afternoon :) I've been reliably informed that my rear indicators have to emit amber flash but does anyone know how this can be done through a red lense panel? I've been looking around at cars and some have red lense panels at the back which include the indicators. Will a yellow bulb flash amber through a red lense????? Cheers Vijay

My Z is in the body shop as we speak having some rust and scratches sorted but more importantly having the crappy water filled sponge spoiler replaced. Now the body shop guy rang me and said he has the old spoiler off and to be honest the car look fooking sh!t hot without it. Which I have to admit, Z's I have seen without them do. I havn't seen it yet. So, what do I do :- 1) get the replica fiberglass spoiler fitted or 2) go smooth ???? I'm going to the body shop today at 2 PM. CheerZ

Well i managed to find a decent Z for the project i have in mind, its a lwb manual tt in red (not for long though as i really dont like red zs) it has a few engine/running issues but im in talks with a couple of z guys from the leicester area who know what there talking about. Just got to get the suspension/camber/castor etc sorted, weld up the diff and chuck away the horrid cloth interior and put my bride buckets and harness's in, then get it on track. As soon as i have some pics i'll get them posted up. Si
