Hi, saw you on the Newbridge roundabout heading towards A8 Airport. Gave you a wave as I went off up the M9 slip in a black, ahem, Mondeo. Sure you had club logo on the window. You won't catch me out with the zed in that weather.......... !

On the way to work this morning the condensation on the rear window was taking absolutely ages to clear. Not sure if my electro strip things are broken I don't think so though as I was getting lines where the condensation was clearing. Anyone else get this? I'm wondering if its due to the amount of water inside the car due to over night targa drips. Cheers, Al

Hi, I have a 91 UK car with standard cloth/tweed manual seats that i am replacing with retrimmed jap seats - the drivers has electric adjustment. I have taken my old seats out and was hoping to find an unused connector underneath for the new elec seats - does this exist. I can't believe Nissan put two different wiring looms in depending if elec seats was specified or not. or will I have to wire it up myself? Thanks Phil

Well I've got a few things that need doing/finishing over the winter before next years show season. These include, and in no particular order...... 1) Rear crankshaft oil seal replacement. 2) Change autobox fluid. 3) Replace left hand O2 sensor 4) Replace left hand Cat over temp sensor. 5) Sort rear steer problem?! 6) Move autobox oil cooler. 7) Fix drooping front bumper lip. 8) Minor remedial trim repairs for the interior. :smash: I think that should just about sort it all out, should even run better after that. Should be in time for the ZClubs France/24 Hour La Mans trip next June! So what's other peeps sorting over the winter??

Right, I have decided to spend a bit of cash on my car (a 90 NA) but don't want to go too mad. I have already re-trimmed the interior, fitted an Apexi filter, Grounding Kit, Smithys Bling plenum cover and replaced my vacuum hoses. I intend to replace the complete exhaust system, including NA headers and de-cat. I also intend to get rid of the jap clocks and get some UK ones in there (autobahns and speed limiters do not mix). I've got a rust spot on the rear hatch, so will speak to my local paint shop who I have heard good things about, to fix. I will also speak to DTA Holland about a good service (oooeeerrr). I have thought about the lightened pulleys, but a…

Ok it's decision time. Need some advice on weather to replace cats and keep back pressure to save turbo seels or get rid and have a better exhaust note. Cats look like originals, could get away with a quick weld up job. Anyone got any suggestions? What have you done and how much did it cost. Running out of money now so cheap solutions welcome. Andy

DO NOT MIX!!!! Please please please be extra carefull out there folks. If its not icey then the wet salt is almost as bad with the wide tyres we have on these cars. I don't want to see any more 'I crashed my Z' posts on here sorry! Sorry to the guys who've already suffered losses but I'm worried its only a matter of time before we lose another member rather than just another Z.... Fat, wide, low profile tyres are not suitable for the road conditions we have at the moment!!! Cheers, Andy

I lost the back end last night, the Zed is not in a good way! I hit curbs on both sides of the car. At the moment I can confirm that at least one of my rims is fvcked beyond repair, another 2 may also be too damaged to continue. The main problem though, is the rear left wheel alignment. I used to have a little negative camber on the rears now I have a LOT of positive camber and even more lateral play in the wheel. It will go up on the ramps later so I can have a look at how bad the damage is and what it's going to cost to fix. I will post pics later. On the positive side: 1. nobody was hurt 2. nobody else was involved 3. I wanted to get rid of th…

I am wanting to rid the Z of the tinny 'Fiat Uno door crash'. Just wondering if anyone's gone mad with sound deadening on their Zs and if it made any difference. Not interested in the ICE reasons for it, just wanting a better quality clunk, rather than the typically tinny crash that Z doors make on closure. Did filling the doors with dynamat make a really noticable difference?

Does anyone know for definate, or could someone post a link, to settle an arguement please. Is there a difference between N/A a TT camshafts? As I believe that there is'nt, infact, from what I remember, N/A and TT heads are exactley the same, except when you actually get inside the ports, then you see that the ports are different internally. The cams, the valves, the port sizes are the same. Thanks guys.
