Hi guys i just got me a 93 2+2 TT jap spec (manual) and I need some help. I going to buy a wide body kit for my new baby from (zcenter)and I’m not sure what to do with the rims . My fronts are 18”/ 8.5s and rears are 18”/10.s. Should I buy the 60mm aluminum wheel spacers and use my rims. Will the look right at the end of the kit or should I buy wider rims and what size. Which one do you think is better and why?

on a 93 jdm spec indicator unit... the bulb behind the indicator, whats it for and when does it come on? cheerZ

Gave the zed a polish today in the sunshine and made a load of white marks on the black trim... does any1 have any handy hints of how to restore the trim or shall i just use back to black? cheerZ

If I were to buy a full set of leather seats, all manual (both drivers and passengers). in Black. Average condition - no rips or tears - minor wear on the drivers bolster... How much should I pay for them as a guide?

I looked to run my temp sensor wire and boost pipe for my pillar pod through the inner wing but that looks a PITA. There is a small plate on the left hand side beside the brake pedal would I be right in saying its where the clutch pedal goes through the bulkhead. I am guessing it wouldnt be a problem to drill a hole for the wire/boost pipe. Anyone verify this for me or is there any easier place to run them. Cheers John

Hello all, I recently checked my auto gear oil which was over filled I have just drained some off so its at its correct level, Iv been having probs before with gear changes 1-2-4-3-4 when driving hard the oil is very brownish colour obviously in need of a change, because of this would the gear changes be due to overfilled/dirty oil? theres no bits inside the oil which is good! and how much gear oil do these zeds take? on a uk tt that is!! the car is fitted with a superchip as ive just pulled the ecu out, my previous thread on boost increase explains the rest. should i replace chip? it has a Superchip sticker and 300zxtt std written on and the code is 30597. am i safe on increased boost

hi peeps has anyone installed a starter button in their zed im trying to do mine and it says you should connect these 2 wires to the 2 thickest wires coming out of the ignition barrel.........but in mine i have 6 and there alll the same thickness they are supposed to go to the starter motor solinoid bit ive looked on the wiring diagrams and to be frank id be better off looking at "how to learn russian" please help me before i blow up the car ( sorry for the non technical jargon ) cheers in advance matty

Been playin with the bleed valves on the zed today. The car is a uk manual and ive just had a new clutch fitted. So been waitin to turn the boost up a bit, anways i turned both bleed valves a full turn antclockwise and i got a fair increase in boost. the gauge used to read around 10 - 11 on the standard but now its readin around 14. i know the standard gauge isnt usually accurate but it still shows a healthy increase in boost. I took the car for a road test and she feels alot quicker on boost, pulling really hard. Funny thing is it seams to be running loads better when accelarating. the car was apparantly fitted with bigger turbos before i bought it but had these re…

I have been gettin this unearthly smell in the car when I accelerate hard. I think I know what it is but I am not sure. My car is an import auto n/a. I think it is gear oil cooking, can anybody tell me what is the problem with the j spec coolers? I have been driving the car for 3 years with the j apec cooler on and I just hope the damage is not done.

Hi all, ive just been to look at a K reg 2+2 N/A auto zed for sale, been standing a while now. She fired up second time, but was misfiring a lot. Took her round the block and the misfiring stopped but the engine would not idle smoothly, almost dying then kicking in. I was told this was not serious due to the air flow sensor needing replacing. Apart from that she seems sweet. Could this be a major prob? If not i may be joining the club!

hi peeps just swapped my tweed for leather and on the drivers seat there should be a plug to plug into the power supply for the up/down/forwards/backwards adjuster there is one on the seat but i need to run power to the plug and i thought there would be a positive and a negative but there are 3 spade connectors in the plug on the seat.....are 2 positive and 1 negative ( cos there are 2 controller buttons ) if so which ones are which..ooooh my brain hurts now any advice welcome cheers dudes matty

:xxx: Just to let you know there is a bad Z seller who has currently been on Ebay breaking on the IOW. His handle is "zodiacmk4". I would tread very carefully as he has fleased me and I see another Ebayer is not happy. Unfortunately I bought via a wanted ebay mail and so cannot shop him. I will be taking legal action though.

hi guys, just finished lifting the engine today and finally got round to seeing my damaged turbo, and was wonder does anyone know what has caused this kind of damage to the compressor? it was burning a bit of oil and coolant for maybe 200 miles. first picture is the busted one, the second is a good turbo. thanks dave
