Following on from my boost controller thread. This is whats currently installed and im not even sure it is a a boost controller. Its an Apexi Air flow controller. Anyone any idea what this does, doesn't do? Apparently its wired into my ecu (thats not a definite mind). Anyone shed any light on it? If I were to simply disconnect it is it likely to cause any problems and is it juts electrical or is it anything to do with the boost? Cheers Mike

Back to normal at last, I can now gun it again after recent weeks of pussyfoot driving as the clutch which was only about 5 months old and 3000 miles was slipping. Another disappointing buy from Z1motorsport. One of the best things about my new clutch is how light it is on the pedal. My previous 2 clutches, the 1st an RPS max and the 2nd a Z1 road clutch, were as heavy as fook. Tha latter also fooked my RPS lightweight flywheel which I had anticipated when I bought the new Exedy track clutch and I also bought their version of the lightweight flywheel. It took 2 hours to complete with me holding the lamp and Jimmer juggling the spanners. He was not much of host tho' as he …

hi all. I recently bought a greddy front bumper, a fiberglass one. I want to get it fitted up to the zed but as its away getting done i can't. My questions are, if i was to fit it up to someone elses car would that be a good idea or not? Next question is how do i do it? Is it easy? Is there a guide or anything?

It won't go away! I'm not doing anything mega to the Z either as I've done pretty much everything 'big' that I want to for the time being, just odds and sods here and there. I thought I could give it a break but I can't. Replaced all the tyres today not just because they needed to, but because I wanted to go a little wider and Jesus H Christ, it made a difference. Stance is near as how I want it as possible. But wait; I want to buy a boost controller in a few weeks time, I'm picking up some new O2 sensors from Mario tomorrow, then there's a new 4 channel amp I want to get, new chip from either JD or AP, the car's going to the bodyshop before the end of the year …

Hello folks. 300zx twin turbo, what a car ae:D. Trying to find out the colour code for my car as everything is in japenese.lol. It seems like a kind of midnight blue colour but i am not sure on what colours nissan made these in as i am new to the 300zx scene. What are good engine monitioring tips to have apart from the ovious checking of oil levels etc? Anyone now where i would be able to get a new rubber for my passenger side as on the cars first wash it leaked slightly, after investigating the rubber seemed to have some wear and tear and i reckon this is the problem? How do use all load you picture of your cars onto the forum?

this isn't a problem with my car but with a previous members car (John Garett who was killed in an accident earlier this year). His Z hasn't been driven for months and the battery is completely discharged so the central locking isn't working. I haven't seen the car myself but I am told the keys just swivel around in the locks to both doors and the boot without doing anything... Can anyone think of a way in short of smashing a window...

i've replaced the top rad pipe on my tt, now obviously i've lost at least a pipes worth of coolant. so i need to top it up. this is something i've not done for years and not ever on the zed, do i just poor some in the radiator cap(well the hole left after taking the cap off obviously)? how do i know when i've got enough? how do i turn the air in the new top pipe into water or will it do it itself? do i need to run the engine to move it round and then add more? do i need to unscrew the plug on the top of other end of the rad what happens if i overfill it? does itpiss on the floor, go into an overflow tank or blow up? damn i sound new or blonde…

I was looking at a car on Autotrader that potentially ticked all the boxes for what I'm wanting, and was just within what I can currently afford at £2750. So I rang the chap up very expectantly, only to be told that it had already sold, which is a shame, but OK, I'm sure more will come along. However I've just been looking on Autotrader again and found the same car being sold again (I can just make out the number plate enough to know it's the same), but this time by a trader (previously it was on as private) and for £500 more, which just puts it over what I can possibly spend! How annoying is that! http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/NISSAN+300+ZX/Ne-2…

i first noticed these in halfrauds and snorted as i walked past them thinking how rediculous and boy-racery they were. then i turned around and looked at them for a while. now in my search for a new set of alloys they have cropped up again. and i keep looking at them, and trying to picture them fitted to a blue Z with smoked side repeaters. do i need a :slap: and a pair of glasses?
