Has any one ever had their prop shaft bolts come loose?I was out in the Z today and I lost one of the bolts that attaches the prop shaft to the diff the metal washer that holds two bolts had opened up and cut a nice hole in the floor of the Z lol.Strange that its taken over four years for this to happen as thats when the auto-manual conversion was done.Anyone else ever had loose bolts on their prop?

Hi every one, i've got a 300zx tt and it seems to have white smoke comming out the exhaust when on idle or when coming to a stop at traffic lights, other then the smoke, the car runs great no weird noise's, the v6 is very very smooth, no smoke on hard acceleration, just when at a stop, i've been told fcv valve's, any idea's people, thanks for reading.

water pump 1990tt man geuine part or ebay stuff any diff and bearing in mind ive never had a problem with overheating or cooling should i leave alone or repalce with whats in there?

where is it and how much is it and is it worth doing or not please?

when taking engine out,it was a rightso and so to do on my own because id split the box too. Now im thinking when putting back in is it going to be a nightmere or should i drop the the box mate them up and place bake in one peice will this be easyer or am i just opening onather can of worms?

Just before i get dirty, i am 90% sure on this but thought i would ask any way i am just about to fit my new upper arms.....and they are handed. Just to be sure when the part is labeled lh or rh does this mean lh= n/s or passenger side and rh= o/side or drivers side Pretty certain lh= n/s but thought i would check Dave

i think my car has started detting, it seems to start at around 3000rpm never did it before, only started about a week ago, doesnt do it when cold, i have an unknown chip in my car which im taking out and putting my standard ecu back in, what else could cause this, i am running standard boost (that i know of) would a datascan show me what is wrong????

what a difference, drives a lot smoother, but now ive noticed the revs hunting and stalling, would this be because i altered the base idle with completley chocked valves and pipes and now its breathing better???

Hi, i have been told that the turbo gauge on a Zed turbo should always be to the left and would only move when you use the turbo. as mine is in the 2/3 of the way. the turbos work fine and it pulls like a train. can you please help.

I bought my 300zx with the air con belt missing, Paul (previous owner) said he never realised, is there a reason why someone may have removed this belt? Or is it likely to have just come of and someones not bothered putting one back on?

just been down to glastonbury to see a couple of jobs and on way back the road approaching new severn bridge was busy so i went over the old bridge ,was heading towards newport doing 100mph+ following a volvo estate ,(you know whats coming ) for at least 4 miles just before the M4 the back of the volvo lit up with blue lights ,if he could see my face i backed off and they carried on ,somebody likes me !!!

Hi guys, My 300 failed its MOT today. Im in need of advice for a few issues 1. Foglight not working (j-spec). Which light is normally used for the foglight? it may help with finding the wiring. The switch is installed on the centre console just to the left of the clock if that helps. 2. 4 new tyres (standard wheels). Ive been roughly quoted £358 for some cheap tyres fitted (kumho i believe)- is this about right? i'm only after cheapish ones atm. Other than that, it also failed on a split steering gaitor (not too bad) and the headlights arent working properly. Its the connection not the bulbs as you can move the wires about and they flicker on and off! …

This might sound a bit mental but is there any legal requirement to have the boot in place whilst driving? :) The reason i ask is the tailgate is coming off my breaker tonight and i might need to drive it tomorrow for a few miles. Can i just say it's a pick up? lol Cheers

hi im looking to buy my first z saw one yesterday it was a 91 jap auto tt, is the auto box ok, quick changes, can it handle high bhp, any common problems? any info whould be usefull. thanks

hi all just about to buy my first z, looked at one yesterday its a 91 jap import tt auto coverd about 60k looked and sounded realy nice but after warming up the engine there was some smoke from the engine near the battey. smelt like oil looked like a bit had leeked and was burning of? car had been siting in a garage for about a year could this be a head gasket?

Been thinking about this for a while, does anyone have or had made an alloy undertray. Ive got one but has a slight tear in it, i was contemplating taking to a local metal works thats makes casing in ali. They say it can be done in 3mm alloy and via a press brake., would help it stop rattling about, but also be light and strong. This would act as a template for others if needed. Anyone else done something?? Stu
