Ok so my digital clock kept working and not for some time and now its finally dead, Bought another and that's dead I seem to remember years ago reading about dry solder and it was a simple fix, sure there was a how to but cannot find anything ??

Hi all, Having removed my side skirts turns out my outer sills are completely rotten :thumbdown: Is there anywhere else other than zcentre to get replacement ones? Also part of the floor near the rear sill edge is holed & rotten any recommendations for who's the best man for job of replacing the sills & doing the welding for me as it's one thing I can't do & don't want to even attempt! Hi Guys, 2 points 1 Which pistons are serviced by which spark plug/that long black thing that does the electrics,(see what i mean, my brain has gone) What i mean is , if you are standing in front of the car looking at the engine you have 3 cylinders on the left etc..., at angles both on the left and right are the spark plugs and , i remember ! Coil packs (phew!) but does the , for instance, first plug/pack on the passenger side (your right) fire up the front left or right cylinder. Has anybody else experienced the z as a magnet ? I've had 3 people in 2 weeks come up to me saying they own one of these. Each one has said they are sat in the garage and hasn't run in years. Met a guy today called Peter from Cardiff, who has 3.1 forged motor in his and has been sat in the garage since 2005 , he took it off the road because of a Knock sensor fault . The car sounds like it had a lot of mods done to it, I offered to buy it without seeing it ha ha . I've now pointed him in Jimmers direction as he wants it recommissioned and didn't know where to take it .

Having brought a Oem rear spoiler last year from a club member I have come to fit to find the studs are rusted and won't bolt through the boot of the car, any advice on best way to fit it or is it scrap? Can it be bonded? Should this be done before or after spraying the car?

Bought a Z!! Picked it up today. Some may have seen this on ebay last week, manual / na, bit of a project but looks solid and sounds like its running well. I've pointed him in this direction so I'm sure he'll soon come on and introduce himself. I'm just buzzing that theres another so local:)

OK guys so carrying on from the discussions in another thread its clear that a few people are interested in buying a set of Carbon Scuttles. From initial discussions with the manufacturer we would need at least 5 sets to make this viable, cost per set is circa £200-£220. These will be "All Carbon Fibre" unlike others that are fibreglass with a carbon top face. So if you would like to maybe participate in a group buy please register your interest and we will build a list. I will then get the ball rolling as and when enough people have signed up. I have a pair of very good condition OEM scuttles that will be used to take the mold from so they should fit very nicel…

Hi guys, I've noticed quite recently my Z has a very slight vibration on the right side, which you can see from the wing mirror shaking, which on the left hand side it isn't. I have since found out that there is a slight smoke coming out of the right exhaust pipe, with nothing out the left. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm wondering whether its an injector not firing. Any help on this would be massively appreciated. Thanks again guys! Phil

I'm after someone that knows the z31 market as I looking to bid on one. It is unfortunately a category d registered car as its had a very minor engine loom burn out. No damage as far as I can see anywhere else on the car, it's a 1990 g plate 5 speed manual with 89000 miles on it.

Hi guys, I have a friend who's trying to sort out his TT engine, he's texted me to say he's got water apparently leaking out the bottom of his engine??? Any ideas what's up with that?? Thanks
