Hello guys, I have a question. I drive a 90TT auto, European spec so without the hold button. Last time I tried the O/D switch in the off-position. Indeed my car used only the 3 first gears but I was also under the impresson the throttle was more responsive. I can't find that shifting would be different in the FSM. Do I have a falsse impression or does anyone else has the same impreesion with his autobox? Greetings, Mike

I've started taking the bits I'll need for my manual swap from my old zed. Jimmer will be putting them in my new zed, and I want to make sure I get everything I need. So far I've thought of: Gearbox, flywheel and clutch obviously Gearstick and related assembly Clutch pedal Brake pedal Wiring harness that connects under the headlight I think? Prop Slave cylinder Starter motor (or are they the same?) Is that everything? What have I missed? I've got a feeling I read somewhere the radiators are different, will I need that as well?

Hello all, long time no see. Was having a clear out and found some brand new never used intake hard pipes with blue silicone. These are the good expensive ones (£220 if memory serves me right?) not the cheap eBay rubbish. They are missing the clamps though so you'd need to get some to fit. They are free to whoever wants them (all I want is the shipping covered). All you have to do is show me a pic of your engine bay and I'll decide who gets them based on your lack of bling sob story.

Just not long back from an evening at Turnberry which hosted this year's chamber business awards. As well as being an annual event this year marked 70 years of the organisation. So as a platinum event the local secondary school put together slides of each decade showing technology, buildings, fashion and transportation. During the 80's section this pops up

Hi! As the title says the large fan that sits between the engine and radiator , driven by the belts is always running on my see even when very cold , does this mean the viscous clutch??? In the fan needs replacement, as I was led to believe these fans should only be engaged at a certain temperature. The fan can be moved by hand when the engine is not running so is not completely seized , sorry for any poor terminology here Haha! As always many thanks :)

Hello all, I have a production number list from Nissan that was produced on 01/97. However, I'm not certain whether it includes both LHD and RHD euro Z32's. The chassis numbers don't determine whether the car is LHD or RHD. I Think it may but I could use some help determining this. The code for steering side is within the model code, which doesn't have any bearing on production numbers with this list. Would a few of you be willing to send me their Chassis numbers? I could use a few numbers from between 90-94, having a 94 would be helpful as well and easy as there were only a few made in early 94 before Nissan stopped production for the UK. Once I can determine exactl…

My red needles light up very well but this is only because i have spent a lot of time on the cluster and you'll find details if you click below. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?184096-Finally-Happy-with-my-Instrument-Cluster Google images is littered with poorly lit 300ZX red needles compared to our modern daily drives, so i cannot help making work for myself after finding out you can buy blue needles and also with them some small smd blue boards that sit at the spindle, hoping the light strongly shoots down. Next week then i'll be having a play about, i purchased blue because my interior is red and blue but you can buy red needles, so you can…

Yes, a number of folks know and I'm shite at keeping schtum about work being done to my Z. In an ever increasing quest to have the cleanest Z I could possibly create, I have become more and more fussy with how things look resulting in me going back to a more original look. So over the past few months I have been buying up more and more original new OEM parts; dispensing with my 2-din Z Thirty Two fascia and replacing it with a brand new OEM one were the first steps, a rare DIN cubby with door from Richard Smith, all new centre console plastics, re-foaming the seats, all sorts of other things and many brand new exterior pieces. Spurred on from JP's awesome exampl…

MeisterR made a lot of changes in 2016, and I am sure many of our members have done a lot to their car also. We want to get some fresh update for 2017, and we want to see what members have to say about their MeisterR coilovers. We would like some pictures (with a MeisterR sticker preferred :) ) for our gallery and reviews of the coilovers from members who have used them, both new and old. It would also be easier to have everything under a single thread to aid members doing their own research. So if you have pictures of your car on MeisterR coilovers, please post them and write a short review of what you think of them. 1. Name: (If you want to provide it…

As we know, parts are being discontinued at an alarming rate for these cars; many trim and plastic components that were available 6 months ago are now no longer available. Things like the plastic trim that sits on the outside of the door pillar for example are not available at all through Nissan USA however strangely one side is still available from Nissan Japan. I am buying up brand new OEM parts as quickly as I can when I replace them. I was extremely lucky with my brand new OEM rear spoiler for example and new headlights (granted the headlights were bought from someone who'd bought them new 10 years ago and never fitted them), but things are getting tough now, esp…

First up I could do with some advice from experience... Any tips on how to remove and replace the nut on the underside of the area circled in red? Spent about 30 minutes at it last night with various tools but I couldn't really get anything on it, even with the assembly fully lifted.
