I have the Nokia N80, and am reliably informed that I can add the Route 66 Mobile 7 software to it (along with a GPS bluetooth receiver) for cheap(ish) sat nav. According to http://www.66.com their software DOES work with the Symbian 60 OS of the N80. Has anyone here used the Route 66 software on a mobile? If so what did you think? Any good? Pants? Waste of space? Dogs danglies? Opinions please :D TIA

Hope this does not get me in trouble... but I enjoy working winter seasons in Ski resorts....and some of you might enjoy skiing.... I met a couple of lads where I worked last year who really are top blokes. Every year they have worked for a tour company but this year they are going alone...and fair play to them I say. They have rented a chalet in Les Gets (The best resort I have ever done a season in) and are offering great holidays to everyone. I can assure you that a holiday with these guys will be better than a big company and would like to pass on their details so you can maybe have a chat if you are thinking about taking a trip to the land of snow this winter. T…

Guys I set a password last night on an Excel spreadsheet what with it being of a personal nature, banking stuff etc, thats took me 5 hours to create. This morning when I typed the password in, its telling me that the password is incorrect when I know its right. Its Excel 2002 (XP) if that helps.... I have tried downloading some password hackers from Limewire but all that does is install viruses!!! :slap: Have you guys got any utilities/tools to help???

My mate was going to apply for a job he could easily get. It was with a county council in a field he was interested in. He's a bright guy - PhD from Cambridge in a science subject. I saw him the other day and asked if he got the job. He said he hadn't bothered applying as with the £30K a year salary he'd only be a few hundred quid a month better of than he is on the dole. Makes me wonder why I'm sitting here working?

you may or may not have read about me quitting my current job and trying to get into I.T. - mainly software development with C/VB.NET, ASP/PHP etc. i have a (7 year old) degree in Software Engineering, boat loads of programming experience, but nothing commercial - and thats what employers need to hear. anyway, enough of the background, down to the point: someone my parents know has suggested I go to a 'boot camp' where you get 2/3 week intensive training and end up with MCSE certification. however, looking at the site it just appears to be server/network management and nothing much to do with software development. http://www.vibrantbootcamp.co.uk/microsoft/…

Has anyone seen this film? Went to see it last night. Stars that guy from 'The Transporter', Jason Statham. As much as, at the time, I kinda thought it was good, I've had a real think about it and it's actually pretty shite. It's worth a watch I guess, but find his acting low key and a bit 'forced' if you get the meaning. Plot is good, script is very poor. Least you see some tits and ass in it, though I guess. Has the most bizarre sex scene....if you can call it that, of any film I've ever seen. There is humour in it and I guess that's what keeps the film from falling totally on its arse.

Have just chatted with my cousin who is a computer programmer, wondered why he hadnt been online for a while. There is a real nasty virus going around. You might receive an email stating 'Invitation' only, nothing else. if you open it, bye bye computer. It got through all his firewalls, AVG etc. destroyed his entire hard drive. If you get one like this, from an unknown source DO NOT OPEN it, just delete straight away. This might be old news to some, but its still very much around. Stu
