For those that know me and have been to any shows with me this year will know that I've been struggling with my knee for quite some time now and recently I've been really struggling to even walk at times. Well it was supposed to be today but it's been put back to tomorrow but I'm finally having an arthroscopy to clear out some damaged cartilage, removal of the knee joint lining and trim some bone off the back of my knee cap. To say I can't wait is an understatement so 12 am tomorrow it's game on. Hopefully I'll see a big improvement in my mobility and way less pain so fingers crossed.

Ok so, some friends and I have been doing our own Top Gear style challenge weekends. This coming March will be our third year doing one and the rules for a car are as follows... Must be road legal for no more than £400 and must be rwd. Now obviously being a zed guy I'd love to turn up for the weekend in a zed but in reality I'm not even going to get an NA auto with no MOT for that money. So let's hear some suggestions for potential cars that I can get in budget. Something random would be good. One of the days will include some drift challenges too but I really don't want to get an old e36 beemer. One last thing, if anyone knows of a zed that's potentially withi…

Got this penalty charge! Should I contest it? I had parked in a disabled bay one of two! It was 7:30 pm & raining, the marking of the bay is very poor & I did not see (could not see) the markings! The bay behind the one I parked in is easily visible! Do I just pay up & shut up!

I would never use this company again and strongly advise to be very wary of the quality and customer care after they take your money. My dealing's with this company was not good from the start. Originally contacted them for a quote and they told me the process of the work they do which sounded professional. They did not mention or does it state on their website that the powder coat can react with diamond cut finish! I booked the wheels in to be dropped off on the Saturday before 2pm when they close. I arrived around 1pm to find the guy had gone home. Great start! Since getting them home I noticed all 4 wheels have reacted as well as 2 of the wheel's poorly powde…

How is it in your area ? We have had lots of floods in the North West of NI but thankfully around Belfast we missed the heavy rain.

  17. After discussing the new S2000 in another thread, I wanted to ask.... Is there any Sports Cars out today that can compete with the Sports Cars of the '90's?? Is the demand for Sports Cars gone?? What can be bought nowadays to rival Z's, NSX's, Supra's etc at similar prices. That's to say £30-£50k ( not £100k GTR's ) and are they all little 1.6-2.0lt engines. Discuss please...:thumbup1:

I figured I'd put my thoughts here on what priorities i think i should have: For starters I plan to do the cam belt next spring since i have no knowledge of it being replaced. Then repair the dents and cracks in my Impul bumper  in March/April (and pass my driving test of course :D) and do the small things like replace broken plastic in prep for it being done. Screw everything back together in my shortie so I can see what mechanics needs to be done to it and what it's missing. Then there's the summer, with 8 week holiday  : Respray to white. Might get the interior done by Mondo. I'd like to get a manual conversion from lee but it mig…

Hi everyone i want to build a lean to with my brother, We have found something we would like to copy, We want it 12ft x 8ft cause there is a slab of concrete allready there from a previous lean to, We have no wood work skills so we're learning lol, except I built a stand for my 500 litre fish tank using stud work and ply and it's still holding and looks nice... At work have lots of 4x2 and tongue and groove stuff... And I have 6 sheets of around 4ft x 1.5ft safety glass. This is what I'd like to build but I don't want roof to slope both ways cause I want it to fix to house, The bits I'm worried about are: 1 how do I joint it to house so it Don't l…

The MP's have voted and the UK will send our boys in the RAF into Syria good luck guys and safe home. For months I have been watching IS carrying out cruel atrocities to anyone who do not follow their laws. They have become sub human in killing in the most barbaric way. They can not be stopped by debate and reasoning they would rather see us all dead if we dont bow down to there extreme laws. This war could be nasty if Russia and America clash but in my opinion we cant stand by and do nothing. Attack is the best form of defence. Please discuss if you want to but keep it within the rules of the forum or it will be moderated.
