General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Had a mad rush to collect the engine covers from the bead blasters today as I found out at 1:20pm that they close at 2pm, and it's a half hour drive away!(Nice of them to ring me like they said they would :rolleyes: ). It cost £20 in a taxi as I'm home alone (girlfriend and one parental unit are off in Latvia!) and my knackered hip means I can't drive yet but the results are pretty damn good! Needed them back pronto as John and I (plus his brother I think!) are assembling my V8 tomorrow. I have an interview next week for a new job,....I bloody hate interviews.. I always do my interviews on a casual basis as I believe you see the true person that way but it seems that everyone I go to is more of an interrogation across a table... I've booked the zed in for MOT next Wednesday. It's well early as it's not due until the end of December, but I really want to gradually move it earlier in the year as with Christmas and everything it doesn't seem to me to be a particularly clever time to be doing that as well. Bit nervous, must confess.

how do you guys get the pictures of your zeds etc on the thread page (not avatar) and the writing were you say what you've done to you cars. my zed has gone to ztech :bow: for a spray job including new 99 spec front, side skirts and new spoiler on the back so i would like to put some pictures up when done. cant wait :hyper:

Ive not long started my last year at uni, and im finding it pretty damn hard to keep the zed. Living in Glasgow centre aint cheap, especially when i can only work weekends. With christmas etc coming up, its gonna be even harder. Even if i manage to get through the year, im going to be left with all my student loans etc to pay off, so selling the zed makes sence. Ive come up with a little idea, which might let me get the best of both worlds. Im working on that at the mo, but if that doesnt work, im pretty sure i'll have to sell her. So... at the mo, im just gauging interest. Although some people think its a good idea, i definately wont be breaking the zed…

I'm currently partway through replacing the bushings on my gearshift, but trying to disconnect the mirror controls, the lighter and the ashtray light... for goodness sake. Could they make it any more difficult? Actually the first two aren't that bad, but the ashtray light connector has to be a work of the devil: looks like it should come apart really easily.... but doesn't. I was on a course today and at 15.00 hrs got a call on my phone from my ex wife. I knew something was up because she dont ring me? Anyway my son Ross has been arrested and her house raided by the police. FFS. I rang the old bill station in Aylesbury and they wont tell me nothing at all.
