Just fitted Goodyear F1 GSD3's on me Zed. I know they're not winter tyres per-say - but Goodyear quote "Good resistance to Aquaplaning" Might I just say - Abolutelybloodyincrediblyfantastic!!!!!! Ive had Kumho's then Avon then Bridgestone Potenzas and now these. These are without doubt the best tyres Ive EVER had!!!! In heavy rain I can still give it lots of gas in a straight line - where the potenzas broke grip these DONT!!! Fairly hard out of corners and giving it some welly and they STILL grip!!! Potenzas broke free a long time before. Wife panicked every time she heard the loud pedal in the rain - now shes fine with me - or at least she…

:hyper: that's right! i've just got in from work, I almost did a Jig today when I got off the Phone!! The best bit is, "Mr. Daniels, we have decided to pay for damages to your car, as our insurers believe this is a special and unusual car very well cared for by its owner, and also these are special circumstances." A girl working at the co.council told me (off the record) that the guy who went to assess the damage was knocked out by it and truly felt sorry for me and my poor zed! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: If someone told me this was the reason I probably wouldn't believe it. I never met or spoke to the guy but …

im feeling pretty "brassed off" already this week as my exhaust on my van has decided to fall to bits, and it would be the part with the "cat" on it! so this is obviously gunna cost me a bit. plus ive just spent £300 on it sorting out the brakes and dodgy gas (lpg). then some muppet has decided to drive down the side of my van leaving a very nice dent/scratch!! i know accidents do happen but at least have the decency to admit to it instead of driving off leaving me to sort/pay for the damage..........all this being money that could be well spent on the zed!   ahh, the joys of motoring :D

  12. These pictures were taken from Maho beach on the island of St.Maarten which is situated in the heart of the Dutch Caribbean. It would appear that one of the runways at the Princess Juliana International Airport is backed right on to Maho beach. As it is, the planes pass over the beach just before they touch down! How cool is that, i have to go there just witness this 1st hand! :D This is not a fake or photoshop as you can see be reading this Article on discussing measures to prevent 'Jetblast' injurys caused to people on Maho beach. Items that she might fail on are........... Headlamp Aim. HID's fitted, without self leveling (technically it should, so I've been told, we'll see). Small size front number plate. Possible...... Rear tyres, although they are above the minimum wear mark, so they should be fine for now (new ones next year) RUST!!!!!!!!!! (not much, just a little on the inner sill to floor …

Looks like I am going to be Zedless for a while as my autobox has given up  , I have seen a Mk3 Golf GTi for sale nearby that I am thinking of buying, taken it out for a spin and other than feeling like I was sitting in a shoebox on wheels it seems to go well with no faults, anyone here own one or know of any common faults I should check for?

Back in the house now after a wee busy day - the new black Z now feels more like my old grey Z. Swapped the leather interior into the new one Put a new steering wheel on the old one Got the dodgy speedo chip off the old one Removed the amp and wires from the old one Removed the cd changer from the old one Swapped the spots so I could keep me led side lights and 100 spots Put the spare, boot floor and jack kit back in the old one Swapped oil caps so I could keep me red one Took the Alpine head unit from grey one Had a look at the rear of the twin din stereo in the new one THAT's a job for another day Drank coffee Wiped brow Came home. …

Hi guys and gals, I've just had some major PC problems, and the result is I've had to have a new hard drive but have managed to retain the old hard drive (with all the data) as a slave drive. I have been told I've got to reinstall all my software (a right PITA) but is there any way I can retrieve all my old, filed email messages? If so, where would I find them? I am using Outlook Express 6. Any help would be appreciated :D.
