  1. Just realised that the post count has been put up again. Im such a chatter box. :mac1: :hyper: 622 posts
  2. Already phoned them before they wont do Autos.
  3. Ill give them a phone sometime this week. I think Scotland has a few Manual owners this wuld be pretty suitable. What I plan would be, get about 20-30 cars (using other clubs of course), put any FWD, RWD, 4WD, then Autos last. This would allow a smoother day. Ill keep you all posted. I guess sometime in May would be best. Dave G
  4. My camera is at home. I wont be able to post them for another couple of weeks, but Ill put them up. People are also welcome to see vids of my 1/4 mile attempts
  5. Look Craig your not that fat. :nana2: I removed the spare wheel the day before. But in its place, I put my tool kit (very handy at race days), 2 big amps and 2 large sub boxes. The only mod that is getting done to performance side of things now is the HKS ALC, which should hopefully do a good job for 1/4 mile track. I noticed at the end, I should have been at just over 100 but since the last gear change took so long it slowed me down a wee bit. Not too fussed about the weight really either. I am the same as you craig, why lose all the comforts. Dave G
  6. At least it just showed the start line on that one. I managed a 14.4 on that run and Kev must have got something like 13.7, about 2 cars lengths by the end I think. Dave G
  7. If you rent the house, then you will have to contact them first. All you say is that it would be a good idea to get it done and it would make the benefit the property (they wont do it unless they benefit from it). Then they would have to contact the Highways Agency unless they delegated the task to you. If you own your house then all responsibilities lie with you. If you have no luck getting lines painted onto the public road, you can put signs up within the proerty stating that it is private parking . If you could get a visible spot. HTH, Dave G
  8. No bother m8, she enjoyed it until they started getting hyper and running riots. Brett, sorry I should have phoned you. How is the new house? I have an offer in for another house in Dundee just now. Buying houses is tricky. Dave G
  9. I am 1700 FC for being 22 with 1 years no claims. I would double check the car that you are insured for on their system. A lot of companies I tried thought they had the right car on the system, but when I checked it out, it was wrong and the policy went up. I was getting quotes of £900-1100 before. I dont care about paying the extra, rather that and having void insurance.
  10. I seen a completly standard Audi TT a couple of days ago with something as stupid as that. Then again, at least it isnt the water filled spoiler fitted from the factory
  11. Its a shopping trolley :mac1:
  12. Seen a lot of very nice 2s, made me want to sell the Z for one. Lots of good looking skylarks too, but didnt see many on the track
  13. The GF was on camera duties and all she took was videos of me from the starting line. One good one though of when I hosed an Integra from within the cab
  14. The weather will absolutely brilliant today. Seen 6 Zs in total all from the forum. I managed to get a 14.4 on the 1/4 mile with almost standard car. Quite surprised by how addictive the track is! Next on the list ALC for the auto box and I should get into the 13s. Dave G
  15. It is topped up right to the top. Any other ideas?? Could it be a loose connection underneath?
  16. I shouldnt have been drinking vodka redbulls out of pint glasses last night. Feel terrible. Just away to give her a little wash, and the car. See you all there, Dave G
  17. Keep your eyes peeled, may be dodgy. Should have asked which club, and checked up with them. It would have ruled out possible threats. I done a lot of martial arts before and never heard of any body going round doors for potention participants. GL, Dave G
  18. OK Scotty, I will be heading from Dundee at 09:45, so probably get there for about 10:30. Keep an eye out guys, mines is the stupidly loud, horrible paint, Z as my sig. See you all there. Dave G
  19. Mark aboves bike when he gets back
  20. Passed my Bike test yesterday. First time  . 3 minors, 2 of them were unpositive lifesavers, to55er, and the other I wobbled a bit at a junction, hardly noticable. Well pleased :nana2: Just a shame I dont have a bike as yet. Almost swapped my Z for one yesterday, but think I will wait. Shame cos I used to enjoy going out on my lessons cos it was out on the bike. Gave me something to come home for (apart from the Z of course  ).
  21. Cheers guys, Didnt think of just using the square number plate and get it across like that. Thanks, Dave G
  22. OK got it fitted into there. Thanks Mac, Dave G
  23. Chunk, I struggle to wheel spin now after putting the new tyres on. Should I still deflate them or leave inflation at its 32 psi?? Thanks
  24. Doesnt anyone have a rectangular plate onto the back end?
  25. I have searched through previous threads without much luck. I have permenantly fixed in my boost gauge now and dont want to move it or play about with it again. Just to double check, can someone show me a pic of the pipe that the put their t-piece to take feed. TIA, Dave G
