  1. The captain of the football and rugby team. Won all the sports days etc. I also got on with almost everyone, never studied but still got the best grades. You know the kind. Dave G
  2. Ill sell you a key for mine. But you have to buy the car too :hyper: :mac1:
  3. You got one Scotty? I have never actually been in one, but a guy in Dundee has a total minter of Cossie, best I have ever seen.
  4. When I got mine I was 21. Managed to get £1700 a year, but the car was standard when I got the quotes. This is with a company called One Call

Brett, As you may read from soem of my other posts, I will be selling my car. If the meet is in time I would go along for it. Keep me posted if anything pops up. Thanks, Dave G
  6. I have just informed Rich. I wont be taking this role. Had a very busy weekend, with houses and money and the end outcome is that I will sell my beloved Z. It ends on a good note though. I have had everycar on my list of cars in my lifetime except from an Escort Cossie (not fussed about one anymore). Owned the Z always wanted one, loved it but time to move on. Thanks for all the help and support from the forum. Ill see sonme of you in the future, made some great friends on here. Dave G
  7. You mean the dash surround trim?? If so it was already like that when I bought it. It looks original though or a very good job of painting it.
  8. Sorry forgot to add. The only couple of bad bits about the car is that the HICAS light has come on, after I topped up the fluid. Also the paintwork is a bit tatty around the front splitter and rear spoiler is bubbly like normal
  9. I know a lot fo you will be surprised, but I am selling my beloved car  . The only reason I am selling her, is due to buying a house, a convertible for her and a motorbike for me all in this weekend. The spec can be found here: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=7197 What should I advertise her for? TIA, Dave G
  10. Unsure. I am going down Saturday to pick my bike up hopefully. It will be something like a 12 hour trip. If all goes well I will go. I doubt I am taking the car though as its just too busy and you never get on the track. If you are going let me know and I will meet up with you someplace. Dave G
  11. Nothing wrong with that. I will be walking/climbing in the area sometime in the summer. Ill book in, and make up some funny stories I could embarass you about to your parents lol. One of my specialities
  12. I used to feel the same way about Dundee until I started working away. Then once I am back I think its great
  13. Or if you go any further North. Give me a shout and I could either put you up or Book you into a B&B near me. You up there for some walking m8?
  14. Hi David. Welcome to the club :hyper: . Fuelling all depends on what the ECU expects. For example my car was imported with a "data systems hyper chip". This chip expected 100ron fuel. It was imported in 2002 but as far as I am aware none of the owners in the UK had done anything about this until I had it changed for a Nisstek one which allows Optimax. If yours has no chip (most common) then you could use any I guess as the ECU is self learning. What I would suggest is, fill it up with Optimax, drive it home and disconnect the negative terminal on the battery (This will reset the ECU) giving the ECU a chance to learn to adapt to new fuel. I aint no great techie, but this is what I would do, someone else may come along and say "what a load of bo***cks" :mac1: . I stay in Dundee along with other owners of a 2+2 manual, 2 seater Manwell and 1 other 2+2 auto. Give me a PM and we could meet up. Going to fit my new BOVs and take my old ones round to Craig-s (2+2 manwell) sometime anyway. Another way to meet is come along to Crail on Sunday, I should be there but probably not in the Z. Dave G
  15. I told you Craig when I work away I am a good boy

  23. I have a similiar question. I am picking my new bike up on Friday. It doesnt have any tax on it, but has 12 months MOT. Would me riding it up without tax be OK and does the 14 day rule apply in the same way. It will be MOTd and Insured.
  24. Link below: Lax Power Usually the busiest day of the year. I should be going. Anyone else going through. All going well, Ill take the new toy up instead of the Z. Dave G
