I thought that was to protect other things from the heat the turbos are giving out? I cant see why heat is a good thing. Thats why theres intercoolers to cool the air down that the turbos have heated up. Also, all the turbos you have worked on, are they from 300zx's?

Thats what I do, but normally I have to push my car out cause its fooked, so I do a little bit on the sill till I can get the jack under the front cross member.

Yup, with two turbos.

Tony. I think it is standard injectors, though you werent sure when it was on the rolling road due to the % they were running it. They are brown colour injectors, not purple which 555's are I think.

THIS pipe on mine.

I had the same prob. One was a top hose at back of plenum. Easy to fix. Otherone was the turbo coolant pipe on passenger side. Not sure it its poss to do in. Can be done with gearbox out, but I;ve taken the engine out to do mine as I had other things to do as well.

Thanks Danny. Ill stay away from the vacuum hose as oil does get in the air sometimes doesnt it.

I want it for the plenum bypass. Also was going to do the turbo oil returns as mine are fooked.

It says ok for coolant. Just wanted to do a few oil return lines with it if its ok. Wouldnt use it on fuel.

Its ok for coolant and air. Is it ok for oil too?
