Now I got the engine out, can confirm it was the coolant pipe to the turbo. Weird why two pipes burst at the same time. Really thought after we fixed that pipe we would have been ok. Dont know why they were not replaced when the engine was out though. Who would leave 15 year old pipes on there?!?!?! A stupid mechanic I guess.

I just tried firefox, but prefer IE. Prob cause thats what im use to. On IE 7 now. A little dif, but will get used to it.

Theres a phosphur bronze bearing in the centre of the clutch area. It was totally mashed to pieces. I take it I can just put another one in when needed?

Well if you really dont mind mate. I would really appreciate it!!!! Im starting on friday, gearbox out, exhausts and all cables etc... I can get at on the engine. Then lift on saturday I guess.

Insurance just sucks full stop. i totally understand why people dont pay it, but it p1sses me off cause I do, so they should too!

Its bad for the driver if that happens, but then he was gonna die anyway so just wanted to do something extreme. coulda gone wrong, but it didnt.

If somone else wants to come and do it I dont mind!!! Otherwise im doing it myself. I spend everyday stripping down and fixing million pound CNC machinery, so a little 300zx engine shouldnt be that bad. But theres always little things that people know that have done it before that I dont. Thats all I wanted to know.

Yup you do that last. Left rear, right rear, left front, right front, ABS actuator front, ABS actuator rear

So now I can leave the box in and the crossmember and just lift the engine out?
