  3. BSP and BSTP are the same thread, the only difference is BSTP is a tapered thread British Standard Pipe and British Standard Taper Pipe, these are both the same as NPT which is Americas version (American) National Pipe Thread.
  4. when changing calipers, bleeding the ABS is'nt nessesary but won't hurt. you must bleed both sides of the caliper starting with the outer nipple first then the inner nipple.
  5. deffinately check that discs are running true, although i would have thought, if they were out, you would have noticed visually. sounds to me like the calipers need bleeding again.
  6. i think that was a bit out of order, coming from an "upstanding club trader".

  16. personally Daffy, i would keep the engine stock for now, just well maintained. get the conversion done then sort the brakes out, once you're used to the manual box and she stops good and propper then, up the boost ;)
  17. these pipes will fit, as long as you have the stock elbows bolted to the tubs, they won't work with split divorced elbows
  18. there are a few places around that will make custom cages that meet FIA reg, Andy Robinson Racing and AutoCross to name a couple but, expect to pay anything from £2000 up to £5000 for a FULL 2+2 race spec cage
  19. i would imagine they have to be stationary as you sometimes see the operative sitting in the back of them, unlike the cameras in the cop cars, which can record speed on the move
  20. forgot to add, and now i have a rug rat thats bleeding me dry lol
  21. i've spent well over 30k on mine, blew the engine last year due to oil surge. now iv'e got a budget figure of around 10k to get the old girl how i want her. 4000 pound is brakes and roll cage 5000 pound is engine and drive train the rest will be body and interior hope that makes you feel better :D
