  1. the collars with the cut out go between the body and the subframe with the larger diameter against the body and the solid collars fit on the underside with the smaller diameter against the subframe HTH
  2. the TT zed comes with 2 itercoolers plumbed into the intake system (one each side infront of the front wheels) these cool the charge temp down before it enters the engine. some people, instead of side mounted coolers go for one big front mounted cooler.
  3. haha, hope you have deep pockets :D no worries buddy, we're all here to help ;)
  4. the standard ECU can't be remapped like a stand alone EMS. John Dixon or Andy P are the guy's to speak to about chips, both of them are members on here and do a sterling job
  5. you won't need to change the fuel pump, uprated side mount IC's or a front mount are a must, a free flow exhaust & filter and an electronic boost controller with a custom chip in the stock ECU will see you good for around 400bhp. any more power and it's forged internals time with larger injectors (555's are a popular choise) coupled with larger turbos
  6. blimey! a one minute bump, thats got to be a record :D
  7. now you've started it :D
  8. are you sure Z1 sell them Mr P??:whistling:
  9. in a word... yes, your as mad as a duck, Daffy :D
  10. hey, no worries Andy, it was worth it just for the steak:chef:
  11. engine mounts, believe it or not :D
  12. very nice jimbo, let me know how the test drive goes, my ownly concern is the lateral forces on such a long extension
  13. 0.9 psi?? i take it you want 0.9 bar or 9.0 psi yes, you can install the controller yourself. there is plenty of how to's on the net that will guide you through the process
  14. don't do it, speak to John Dixon and get a chip that is guaranteed NOT to feck your engine
  15. the only advantage of having a "later" opening thermo is when you are tracking it. just my opinion mind ;)
  16. not sure weather the stock lines will have a big enough bore to allow for sufficiant flow of oil from the accu. you should be able to get to the tree ok from underneath, maybe a bit of a struggle but, i still think it can be "getable"
  17. you could do but, feeding the accu straight into the tree will be a much more affective method than flowing it round the filter. running the cooler off a plate is better as well due to the higher volume of oil that can be shifted
