  2. good job matey
  3. whats that from diddy p?
  4. true, but having a tt zed is a good start ;)
  5. do you realise the work involved in converting an n/a zx to a tt zx? if you did i dont think you would be asking this question! ultimately, if you want a tt zx with upgraded tubs, either buy a tt zx with upgraded tubs or buy one with stock tubs and upgrade them :) you cant simply bolt on upgraded tubs to an na zx hth Joel
  6. waiting for its new owner to join this club...
  7. sure will matey, just got off the phone to sum1 who thinks he can get me 1 no probs. got to give him a call 2moro so i will let you know the outcome :) Joel
  8. that looks as though the airbag has gone off and ruptured the front cover?
  9. idd iv just compared the vin number to the vin date list that was linked... although my exact number falls in the gap where they havent got recorded vins', it still falls in sumwhere in 93 for sure so thats all good :)
  10. tis why i want want, from seeing his ages ago! he got it from a trader at JAE a few years ago but he cant remember the name of the trader. he only paid 80 bucks for it too!
  11. thats a tidy looking car for 2.5k
  12. does any1 have any idea where i can source a 350z steering wheel? cheerZ Joel.
  13. i would have thought si would require 285/35/18 tbh
  14. not sure but having sat in it i quite like it... the cheap nissan leather is rarely found without looking messy whereas this looks almost brand new! bonus!
  15. does the cruise control disengage when you dip then clutch then? otherwise whats the ascd clutch switch for?
  16. cheerZ dude i think i will have that stuff off ya... havent confirmed the purchase of the car yet as i had cruise control as one of my musts.. but with the rest of the car being mint i will prolly go for it, il let u know!
  17. so i would need... a cruise control, control unit - the actuator that mounts on the throttle cable under the bonnet - wiring looms - and the pod buttons... that about everything or is there differences in the main ecu? is the brake pedal switch different for a cruise to a no cruise or does the brake pedal switch feed the cruise control control unit with the cruise control loom :wack: did that make any sense lol
  18. cheerZ dave, it is a series 1 ptu then, my uk spec 93 had the series 2 one but as you say sum1 must have changed that in its lifetime. should i look at getting a series 2 one asap? have you seen my post about cruise control dave, thought maybe you could help on that 1? Joel
  19. nah, it looked pretty standard, at least im sure it had a standard front bumper.
  20. lovely thanks for reply chaps, what does a series 2 ptu look like then. the one on this car had an alluminium casing with heat finns on it :)

what your gonna put all the new meets up on this thread? you should start a new one really
  22. we have, weve got the impreza estate... but he'll be coming with us to zed meets and the odd summer trip etc so with a 2+2 we get the option to bring him with us ;)
  23. just been to see a series 2 93 import zed... the seatbelts were not on the doors, it had the series 2 heater pod with the blower direction as apposed to the series 1 OAT, it had dual electric seats, so that was all good... my concerns are that... the brake calipers were the series 1 alluminium calipers with the heat dissapation fins and not the cast iron series 2 calipers that were on my uk spec. also, the ptu looked different to that of my series 2 uk, although i remember sum1 saying that my series 2 ptu looked different to their series 2 ptu. could sum1 be so kind as to put up a pic of what a series 1 and a series 2 ptu should look like? is there some way i can tell the exact date of manufacture from the vin/chassis number?
  24. around about 14:30 this afternoon, im sure you saw me and i was waving my hands like a looney at you. i was in a poobaru impreza estate travelling in the opposite direction :) was it you? Joel.
