  1. Wow that's some car history, 80-90 cars; and to think the Z tops them is humbling. What sort of performance cars has it trumped in your personal experience? Welcome to the club.
  2. That's true, I fitted them to mine simply for continuity and the fact they were sold as a set. You can utilise the oem z32 rear disc for R33 brembos as the disc diameter only varies by a couple of mm. When you purchase a set, just ask the seller to supply the mounting bolts. To buy a ship set from Nissan becomes really quite expensive. If you're considering purchasing some generic (non OEM) bolts of the correct grade then the physical dimensions of the bolts are the same, it's the thread pitch that is different. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the difference is.
  3. Is that Andy P's (now Craig's) car Andrew?
  4. R33 GTR Brembo front and rears are a straight swap. The only thing to bare in mind is that the thread inside the R33 caliper is different to those in the Z32 so if you get a set, make sure you get all the mounting bolts too.
  5. Those brakes [emoji15][emoji7] More pics and spec please akirazx. Looks like a tastefully modified car, good job [emoji106]
  6. Hi, I am after one of these old girls for a 93 twin turbo (although I believe this section of pipe fits all models). The diagrams below illustrate the part I require: Regards, Joel.
  7. Ooooh what happened to you, What ever happened to me, What became of the people, We used to be!
  8. I had mine done nearly 8 years ago, by Jimmer @ PowerZed. Still going strong. [emoji6] It nearly ended up being done by Paul@SWZ, luckily I pulled the plug on that just in time and took it to Jim's, otherwise the above would very likely contain a horror story lol!
  9. Fair enough, I see your logic. Although combining shipping for engine build components is one thing, but the shipment of an item that size pushes it into a whole new league! I'd deffo get quotes from both before I commit. Also, I wouldn't want a box of pistons, turbos and other heavy bits rattling around inside a big box filled with comparatively delicate fibreglass; you may end up having to exercise your shipping insurance rights.
  10. I like it, the madmax muscle look!
  11. Hey dude, deffo get them pics up. I've seen a few on Facebook and it's looking mighty fine chap :)
  12. You bought one from CZP? Why not order from twinchip?
  13. That would be awesome, I'd be there for sure :)
  14. So sorry to read this news Mandy, my thoughts are with you.
  15. It's on steroids, you can see its pumping veins!
  16. Happy Birthday Richard :)
  17. Sounds like an opportunity for a meet location and get a photo shoot with some Z32's on display with the newer beasts ;)
  18. Good stuff thanks matey. That flowchart is perfect as it clearly states that cars not listed in the annex are subject to a non cat test. I've checked the 18th edition emission standards booklet annex and sure enough, the 300zx is not listed. I assume they're unlikely to appear on the analyser database?
  19. Do you have the MOT literature extract that explains this point? I've been having issues for the last few years trying to convince the tester of this but they never believe me, which is a pain considering mine is defatted!
  20. I take it these companies specify what cameras have to be fitted? I'm not sure it's something I would want to commit to for insurance discounts, but it would be handy to know what types are approved and why?
  21. Good stuff, one of those few occasions when it's a great feeling to find something broken on your car [emoji106]
