  1. Top Tip: If you only press the far right pedal half way down the boost stays low. Press it all the way to the floor for full boost ;)
  2. That's what you said about the Porterfields last year :slap: LOL
  3. Nice new site, same old shite!
  4. You're not the only one but I kept my mouth shut to hide my geekyness LOL

I need a holiday! LOL Always loved these cars. I remember seeing one in London years ago and my mate pulled alongside at the lights in his Renault 19 16v and gave it some revs LOL The race was on.... but not for long! It left us standing in a cloud of tyre smoke never to be seen again LOL Don't think I'd ever seen anything so quick at the time.

Signed. My grandad fought alongside them (He was in Africa and Burma in the 2nd World War) and always said they were the most dedicated he'd ever met. Quite agree there's too many imigrants coming in but the numbers involved here are tiny in comparison. How often do you hear the figures for the numbers emigrating from the UK? It doesn't make headlines so you won't but we're leaving this shitty country in record numbers! For some reason we seem to think this tiny island is something special when in the rest of Europe nobody gives a toss where the borders are. What we need to do is stop handing out benefits to everyone (including millions of our own lazy b@astrds) then we wouldn't get as many freeloaders heading here.
  7. I have Noltec poly ones in mine but only because at the time they were less than OEM from the Nissan Main Stealer. Got them from Z1 but they are quite heavy so unless you are getting quite a few bits the postage might be a killer. When I took the engine out one was in 2 pieces and the other was in a right mess. I'm sure OEM are fine though.
  8. a new doorstop? Well at least it's already upgraded so if it suits your setup then you might as well use it :)
  9. Yes it's 16 bit and rare but apart from that you're very limited as to what you can do with it.
  10. Got to be the heater matrix has gone. You MUST be losing some water from the radiator but maybe it's a small leak at the mo. Get it looked at before your car fills up!
  11. Yes if it's been locked after loss or theft then it won't matter anyway. The only option then will be to look into flashing it with a new ROM but I'm not sure if that will work either. After that the next stage is the bin! LOL
  12. I have to say this looks very well organised
  13. That's why they have the wrist straps though init? :)
  14. Can't see it matters what you did with it if you're covered for accidental damage.
  15. LOL  Paying for an unlock code won't help as that will just be to unlock it for other phone networks. I'm not sure if you will even be able to flash it if you can't unlock it? Even if you can it's not usually that easy if you don't know what you're doing. There's probably a factory reset procedure which will clear the code and erase the phone memory if it's like most other PDA/smart phones. If so it will be in the manual which you should be able to download from the Blackberry site. Quick look on their help site: About the device password: If you type your BlackBerry® device password incorrectly five times, you must type blackberry before you can continue. The next time that you type your password, and on subsequent password attempts, the characters that you type are displayed. If you type your device password incorrectly ten times, all information is erased from your device for security reasons. Not sure if this will reset it completely but worth a try. The only other mention of resetting it is to select "Wipe Device" from one of the menu's but you can't get that far.
  16.
  17. The badges on the seats are actually a safety feature - your hair sticks to the glue and stops you getting whiplash when someone steps out in front of you shouting "What the feck have you done to that Z???" I'd love to know what made him stick the badge half way up the bonnet instead of on the nose panel?? Makes it look even more shite! LOL
  18. I do like the silver and if it wasn't for nearly every panel now needing some paintwork I wouldn't even consider a change. Putting a flip into it might be the way to go. Seems like almost every car in my street is silver at the moment. I looked out the window the other day and out of 9 cars I could see, 7 of them were silver! I thought I was in some kind of silver day dream LOL
  19. Looks like Lambo Orange Pearl is the one if I go for it. Renault Inferno Orange is quite nice as well but a bit more red:
  20. Yeah the yellow Paul Bailey car was one of the ones that made me go wide arch all those years ago. I very nearly went with yellow myself but decided it was a bit too much and stayed with silver. I think having a couple of silver cars at the moment is making me want a change for the Z but I don't know if I'd end up regretting it.
  21. LOL Did about 3 or 4 laps I think but we didn't have time for any more anyway. Just left the system to cool a while between laps. I was using porterfield pads and Castrol SRF fluid with R34 calipers and disks. To be honest I don't reckon that much to the Porterfields. When I first fitted the Skyline calipers I was in a rush and needed some pads to get me going while some proper pads arrived in the post so I chucked a set of Blue Dot pattern pads in costing a massive £14  I swear they were better than the Porterfields and lasted ages! The worst I've tried were Red Stuff. Cost about £100, great when really hot but downright dangerous when cold. I come out of my road onto a steep hill and when driving down there at 10mph first thing in a morning they literally felt like someone had poured oil in my calipers! I actually had to use the handbrake a couple of times to stop at the bottom. Dust everywhere and just to put the final nail in the coffin they only lasted about 2000 miles! I heard they changed the compound since but I wouldn't use them again.
  22. Maybe they don't have such big heavy cars and know the track quite well? I didn't have a clue! All I know is the brakes boiled in no time at all and the pads were as good as on fire when I finished LOL We met a 3 times world champion Aussie driver who was in his 70's and knew the track really well. He took me round in my Z in about 8.5 mins. He said the brakes had gone after about 5 corners but carried on going for it driving in his bare feet. Totally mad!
  23. I have this problem with mine too. If I turn the tap right down to a trickle it comes very hot but takes half an hour to fill the bath! When I turn on the sink tap as soon as it comes hot the pressure seems to drop and it turns into a trickle. You leave the tap running then come back expecting it to be full and find there's hardly any water. Heating is great though.
  24. An anchor! LOL My R34 brake setup and decent pads lasted about half a lap before there was no pedal on the ring LOL I'd never got them to fade at all on the road before
