  1. The ones that came with my alloys look like that. My wheels haven't fallen off yet and that's probably the only bit of the car that hasn't LOL
  2. Safety boost won't stop it missing. If it's not running right the boost won't make any difference. Who put the boost jets in if it had a boost controller? Nothing wrong with boost jets as long as they are the right size to restrict the airflow down the pipe.
  3. Do you need bigger injectors for that T95?
  4. I'll have a check of that. I think mine might have had a front end bump before it was imported and had a new bumper and possibly wing(s).
  5. Had a look at Andy's and he has them mounted horizontally. I'd really want them vertical like in the Aston pic above. Does anyone know if it would be possible to fit them like that before I go and order them? Can anyone do a photoshop of my bonnet with them??? :D I've also got a pair of the fog light ducts in black to go on if you can show how that will look ;)
  6. and then the gearbox will die... and... and... Don't do it! LOL
  7. Fitted one to mine but can't remember what brand it was. Long time ago!
  8. See if you can get the Z on a classic policy as they usually start at 25 too :) I'm older but only paying £300 with loads of mods declared. Doesn't use your no claims so then you can shop around for your daily car. Best I've found is Lynbrook: http://www.lynbrookins.co.uk/80507/info.php?p=1 Actually from age 21 :) Mine is limited to 5000 miles a year but that's not a problem and it's easy to get round...
  9. Seriously I'd love it but haven't got the space or the time to swap it all over and start refitting a kit again :( Would love a SWB wide arch too.
  10. Yes but it's very thick stuff with something like a resin coat over it. Not sure I dare - this bonnet was over a grand new  It needs painting properly, I've just done it with a can from Halfords so it doesn't look too silly until I get it done ;)
  11. No I've tried that. It just seems the bonnet (or the car) isn't straight LOL You can only just see in the pic that the right side is a fraction above the level of the wing. Not much but I want it fitting perfect :) PS the headlight panel isn't screwed in there so it's just sitting loose and not a problem.
  12. I'll have it if you swap all my parts over to it, refit my wide arch kit and take away my rusty shell
  13. Shame about the background but it hasn't left the drive for more than 10 minutes since I fitted it LOL I reckon they'd have to go in the bottom outside corners to sort the problem but not sure if they'd mount there or even look any good in that position
  14. I think they will just split somewhere else in no time if you glue them. At least they are cheaper now I paid about £50 for a set!
  15. LOL some are OK but there's some horrid cheapo ones about too!
  16. I have a bit of a problem with the fit of my Border bonnet on one side in that it sticks up slightly from the line of the wing at the front edge. I've tried all sorts to line it up and been thinking of using some bonnet pins but don't really like the traditional chavvy type pins you see on Nova's to keep that monster engine covered LOL Anyone seen or used these AeroCatch flush locks on a Z? I don't think they'd look too out of place... My bonnet catch is a bit sticky too so could kill 2 birds with one stone. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AEROCATCH-Flush-Locking-Bonnet-Pins-Catch-FREE-UK-P-P_W0QQitemZ300317146192QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item45ec4bfc50&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A30
  17. Yeah I just did a search and can't work out if it's a GTV Spyder, just a Spyder or Spider? One of those anyway! LOL As long as it's the V6 ;) VERY niiiice! :D
  18. I reckon it's about 430 at the wheels right now at 14psi. Had a dyno at 400 before I changed to a twin intake and the power is definately up a lot since I did that. Made a big difference to the power and runs a lot smoother It hasn't even been properly mapped yet and is running rich. That's another job that will have to wait until everything else is sorted.
  19. MG-F ? :D Not a big fan but they are cheap now. Alfa GTV ?
  20. Well the engine is great now but just keeps eating clutches and gearboxes  I got the bodywork sorted then the auto box died. Converted to manual box with new clutch. New clutch died within 2000 miles. Another new clutch fitted. Turbo's failed and engine died. New engine went in but they forgot to repair the turbo's which caused it. Engine out again for new turbo's fitted. Clutch died from too much power. Fitted big clutch and now the box has died instead LOL Now it's been off the road standing so long the bodywork is a mess and needs loads of work to sort it out. Never ending :(
  21. Unlikely to be that then!
  22. If I hadn't spent so much and knew what I know now I would! LOL
  23. Another PTU failure I reckon! Must have said that about 10 times this week! LOL
  24. If it had no water in it then just keep an eye on it.
  25. Must be crap quality rubber if the sunlight has made so many fail :headvswal Mine have been on about 3 years I think.
