  1. Yes it's shagged LOL The diags showed no fault so it looks like the clutch packs are worn out. The fluid is brown and smells burnt so time for a rebuild :(
  2. Clarkey, the red stuff is actually airbrushed flames and does look like flames up close... but I agree it would look far better without it. Is it just me or are all modified car mags just turning into porn for teenage boys who aren't old enough to buy the real thing? It really is getting embarrassing having to buy porn just for a few car pics and short, shite articles. I can download far better porn when i "need" it! LOL I might try subscribing to some of the US mags as they seem to concentrate on the cars over there. When they do have a few babes on the bonnet at the big shows, at least they are worth looking at unlike the cruise slappers with saggy tits that fill our "JASMA mags"! LOL
  3. Speak to SE Nissan about the uprated bits as they do the fast road rebuild and must have stronger stuff available. I know one of the improvements they do is to increase the line pressure which makes the changes quicker and reduces the wear on the clutches. Just like reducing the amount of slip you give a manual clutch as you engage it I suppose.

Could be the speed sensor on the gearbox failing but I can't think why it would do it only over 100mph? Most likely the speed convertor has been fitted incorrectly/in the wrong place? Is it behind the clocks where it needs to be?

Does one of them have a Z in it? Seem to remember hearing something about it a while ago. Where can I download it? I've got Kazaa if thats any good?
  7. The new March issue of Redline has a feature on a yellow Stillen kitted Aussie Z with major mods. There's also a poster of it for your living room wall ;) It's a bit over the top for my tastes but worth a look.
  8. Yeah true! Make sure you make her fill the dishwasher and switch it on. If she moans, tell her how ungratefull she is now she doesn't have to wash up! :D
  9. I raced one from behind and he went into a corner so fast to get away from me I thought he was dead. He lost it big style and fishtailed all over the road then got one hell of a beating from his girlfriend. If there had been a car coming the other way he'd be dead. I was pissing myself as she started whacking him about the head! Cruised past on the next straight after taking the bend relatively slowly :D
  10. Get some ball bearing turbos fitted to it mate ;)
  11. When half your brain has shut down completely you may as well have it removed, thus reducing MASS and allowing you to save more energy and run faster etc! :D
  12. Spot mine? Not had any attention from the pigs yet but I have been off the road for ages LOL
  13. Turn off the ignition and put out your fag first ;)
  14. I thought it was Candy Floss Pink you were wanting? :D
  15. Is it an auto? Move the lever through the gears and back to park/neutral before starting it to make sure the starter inhibitor switch has not stuck. Happens on mine every now and again.
  16. Could it be the alternator belt slipping at higher revs and needs tightening?
  17. The headlight bulbs are changed by unscrewing the cover on the back of the headlight unit and unclipping the bulb inside. The main beam ones are a pain as you need hands the size of a 5 year old to reach down the back and need to remove a couple of pipes first to make it easier. The fogs are much easier. You just unscrew the indicator units and reach behind the fogs to undo the 3 or 4 nuts holding them in.
  18. Another top idea for the "intellectuals" amongst us: Increase the ratios in the diff so every turn is multiplied by 10 or more, giving about 3000 miles to a tank full, but causing lots of burnt clutches and 0-60 in about 5 minutes. Just buy a diesel or walk to save even more fuel if you are a tree hugger.
  19. Are these stickers for inside or out? My windows are tinted so I'd have to put them outside the glass. Can you print them/sticky 'em in reverse?
  20. Cheap as chips! LOL
  21. EVERYBODY give me a call then ;)
  22. I've got a silver Z... but it was sat on my drive at the time ;)

Have to agree with you mate, it's the only car I'd sell my Z for and could probably have bought one with the cash I've ended up spending. Are you getting an auto or manual? :D
  24. Give me a call and I'll sort something out dude 07702 333323 anytime
  25. Try disconnecting the battery for an hour and see if that clears any electronic fault - the box can get in a flap and do some odd things sometimes. But... It sounds like the problems I had with mine when the clutch packs failed. Time for an expensive rebuild. :(
