  1. A large vice is the easiest way I think. If you can push out the metal centre first then it makes it fit easier. Getting the old ones out is the worst bit. I think a few people have had to put a hacksaw through it and cut it into pieces :(

I don't think you can do that but some kind soul might send you a copy of the CD version if you ask nicely ;)
  3. No the fat bird started to whistle at 130mph and slipped off over the roof! ;) Must say thanks in advance to Macca, PaulG and Elmo for offering to give me a hand putting this lot back together. I have a feeling taking it out was the "easy" bit! LOL
  4. Do Scooby's have any power? I overtook an STi at about 60mph on country roads like it was standing still ! The next one I came across tried to get away by going into a corner so fast he lost it and nearly went through a hedge (I cruised past him on the next straight while he was cleaning up his trousers and getting a beating from his lady passenger!) LMAO
  5. IMHO the standard Z looks too skinny at the rear when viewed from the front. The front arches bulge out but the rear ones don't match it. The view of the back of my car is 10 times meaner and looks lower than it was. Also another advantage is the much wider wheelbase which makes a HUGE difference to the handling.

Mine too, but you all copied off me of course :D ;)
  7. Yeah the one wrapped in bandage type stuff is one of the aircon hoses. I think it goes to the bulkhead and heater matrix?
  8. Mine are from a R33 GT-R V Spec and were dead easy to fit. All you do is unscrew the brake hose then unbolt the two 19mm bolts that hold the caliper on. The old disk slides off and you put the new one on. You have to bend the dust shield back thats behind the disk but it's only a thin plate and just needs a shove. Then you bolt the new caliper straight on but you must use the original Skyline bolts. The ones off the Z caliper are a fraction shorter and have the wrong thread. If you don't get the bolts with the calipers I'm sure you can buy them at a hardware shop or from Nissan for silly money.
  9. My de-cat pipes came off a NA Z 2+2 and fitted my TT 2+2 fine and I'm pretty sure it's the rear section that's a different length so yes. The only thing is... I got them off the NA because the owner fitted them but couldn't bear the noise! I'd do it but be aware that it does give quite an increse in sound levels and with no turbo's to silence things it will be LOUD! :D Chris.
  10. I thought of that but I just can't find it...?
  11. Buy some different ones... :D
  12. It is sad but I'll be doing the same soon :D Very nice burble to that mate, will sound superb in tunnels :D
  13. Should be a big improvement over the standard ones. The disks and pads are miles bigger than stock. Dead easy to do - only took half an hour each side.
  14. I heard a loud bang and something fell off. :D
  15. Could it just be the belt slipping? More RPM gets it turning more maybe.
  16. Tried to send you a PM but it says your mailbox is full. Chris.
  17. Most bodykit stuff is made to order or imported specially from US/Japan. Wheel showrooms might keep common fittings for mainstream cars but chances are with the price of wheels that they will order them for you from the factory.
  18. Seal the air intake and exhausts to stop anything getting in or out. This will stop the petrol going down but it may take you longer to get from one place to another.
  19. Only blokes from Essex would take their shirts off and fight with big sticks in a narrow corridor :D LOL
  20. Congratulations to you and the "family" mate! Chris.
  21. Why not, Macca said he's packing a sock. Don't know what he meant ;)
  22. My wheels have never needed balancing, they seem to stay upright because they are bolted to the car.
  23. If I say yes at this stage it may influence what car I arrive in on the day LOL So I'll let the rest decide ;) :D
  24. Well the wheels will have to be ordered with the right offset and there's no huge demand for Z spoilers so I doubt you'll find one on the shelf at Halfords!
  25. And don't feed them whole chickens as these may contain eggs
