  1. It's the original wide arse Z that made me want one! I wish I'd never seen it now LOL
  2. This is probably what you need: http://www.300zx.org.uk/tech_01.htm Andy P's site has lots of useful stuff. When I got mine resprayed it was just done in "Nissan Silver" but it does look a lot brighter (and better) than before. This might just be because of fading over time but I was told it was the only silver used on Nissan's.

Sounds like you are doing the 60K service and http://www.courtesyparts.com do the whole lot as a kit I think. Much cheaper than buying from Nissan here. All the bits are the same as UK spec so you can either supply your own parts or just get your garage to sort it all out. I'm not sure who you would be best using down your way though.
  4. I got the largest one then you can adjust the length of it to suit wherever you mount it. I'm pretty sure this is the one Macca got too.

If it is bridgeable on those outputs then the resistance shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't go below the maximum for each channel when combined if that makes sense. If it's stable at 2 ohms it means you can't go much below that value without risk of damage. 3 should be fine and the rated output will be halfway between those quoted for 4 ohms and 2 ohms...
  6. Yes but I know a man who has years of experience working on Z ECU's and has done more than anyone else in this country LOL
  7. I've sent you a mail matey ;)
  8. This engine I'm getting ready to put back in has been stood for ages and I'm still waiting for parts. Is it going to do it any harm standing with no oil in it for months on end? Is there anything I should do as it might be a while yet? Chris.
  9. I've seen one of these parked on an A road near me. They are the new digital cameras that can identify your reg and tell if you have no tax/insurance etc. I think they also get annoyed if you go too fast ;)
  10. You can buy manual box and all the bits for about £600 and do it yourself. It's not as hard as you think. The worst bit I found was getting the clutch pedal installed.
  11. I'm sure someone will be able to copy their CD for you but it's about 180MB so e-mail is not really an option.
  12. Yeah I use Autoglym Bumper Care and it works a treat.
  13. Don't show that to Smithy! :D
  14. I decided to give that virus checker a go myself and found 33 infected files! It was a virus that's at least a year old too :o I am using Norton 2003 and it's updated daily and does a full scan whenever the PC is idle. I've had problems recently on clients sites where McAfee didn't pick things up but trying Norton's did... just shows neither are totally safe even though they are the biggest names!
  15. Is that one of the rare "300WRX" special editions? ;)
  16. I have had similar problems with lots of USB gadgets all plugged in at once. Try removing a few to see what happens.
  17. I never wear a skirt but it's up to you I suppose ;) I think it would look like it does with skirts but with out the skirts if you know what I mean... :D
  18. There's a few that have had this done. Mine, Macca's, SMW?, DaveW? There's pics on my site.
  19. Yeah let me know when you work it out!
  20. Cheers mate, I never turn down a BBQ and free food. Saves Cash for mods ;) :D LOL
  21. I got them from http://www.larkspeed.com
  22. Z Centre have stopped doing them but Luke directed me to MJP for my set.
  23. I saw a lime green murkywotsit in Knutsford a couple of months back and it's the most awesome car I've seen on the road. It was crawling up a back street and had to reverse to get round a few tight corners but the sound of the engine even on tickover was just fantastic. It really does make a Ferrari look pathetic! One day... :D
