Took mine apart to replace a window motor and it's a pain in the arse to do. That might be what the spare wire is for as it's a big job to get the motor out for testing. Found the door is rotting through at the bottom but it's not visible from outside yet :(

Not sure what the spare wire does but I've got them too - maybe some kind of diagnostic connector for the windows? No idea really LOL The black box is the relay/control for the one touch drivers window. Quite often gets dry joints and needs re-soldering ;)

Well I actually like the car and the arse! I've never liked that nose panel (doesn't go with any other lines on the car) and the rear slots and lights are too much but if the stupid badges and a few scoops were removed it doesn't look that different to mine! :rofl: Why put 6.0 V12 on it??! :rofl: D1ck! I like those mirrors, anyone know what they are? Don't think i've seen that style before. They're not like the tiny Veilside "ears" that I hate.

I like it, and at the end of the day it's what you like that matters. A lot of people don't like my car but it's never bothered me. Makes a change from all the same old colours. Wouldn't dare drive a pink car myself but I'm sure the other girls will love it :) It will certainly get some attention so be prepared! I'd colour the strip on the boot to match though ;)

So is the heating performance still as good with the primera unit? Presume it is if it's bigger but depends on the construction.

That's amazing! He must be doing more like 60 there I reckon. Anyone who'se tried skiing will know how hard it is, never mind barefoot doing all those tricks. I've had a fair bit of the dash out before various times and I did the manual conversion myself so I know what it's like under there :( How easy was the Primera matrix to fit and how much was it? I'd much rather fit a new part if it's cheap and not have to do the same job twice.

That would be great Mike :) I'm absolutely broke at the moment so it all helps. I'd usually only fit new parts but I really can't afford this right now. The steam is nasty stuff - it's left a white coating over all my windows just getting home today.

Might have to bypass it until I get the parts but I don't think winter without a heater will be much fun. I can imagine the fun of clearing a frozen windscreen! Will find out about that Primera matrix, cheers!

Andy, A little bird (actually a huge bloke) says you might be after some work? :rofl: I've got a clutch needs fitting and my heater matrix just blew :( Not the nicest of jobs I know so might just bypass the matrix for now but it's going to be cold over winter. Tyre coming apart... Check them but I'd say it's the tension rod bushes.

Just the rear sections should do it depending on what exhaust you have...
