took off the fan cowling right cam cover fan and now looking at the interesting configuration that holds the bypass pipes on, another night. Can see the water on the under shield and can see where water has crystallised on pipes but no real obvious leaks

where did you get the stubby couplers from?

live in Westbury Wiltshire so will be heading through Salisbury, Podimore is the other direction from me only about 40mins but could meet up as you hit the A36

had my wheels powder coated and also got some centre stickers for the caps, sure there will be haters out there but think they look good will get the full feel when they are on the car

think i might be entering into the same issue, was going to take my daughter to her prom only to be losing water not massive a amount but did see a small amount on the under shield. Also with heater on full there was no hot air. Along with that the coolant looks very rusty. So again thoughts welcome. But looking at the above could poss be the connections on the bypass and maybe the heater flap and not a head gasket(no gunk on oil cap)

I know i don't contribute much on this group but always follow whats going on but didn't think ignoring people was how this group worked. had a similar sound on mine,also thought it was slipping belts but when I turned off AC all went quite, back on and noise again, has all gone away for the time being. might be worth a try if you haven't already eliminated

Hi Andy welcome back I have been on this site for about a year now and log in every day to catch up on the antics of the motly crew here. Mine is a 2+2 1992 auto n/a and it had a 300zx club tax disc holder, so it must have been part of this club at some time but not yet found the old owner ( J254TNC ) good luck with your search for a good TT manual Stuart

Put DRL on my car into the spare bulb holder in the clear indicator unit, fitted it with a module that turns the DRL off when indicating and when lights are turned on

No it would not go into drive at all, can't get past neutral. went down today and lubricated all pivot points and repositioned a cable (had a white cover over it) which was out of a cable clip, it was above the box. low and behold it now goes through all gears, still up on ramps and not running but think it might be fixed. will go back tomorrow and try again to confirm but feeling a lot happier :clap:

well went to fit DRL and painted callipers over the weekend. so drove it to the unit, no problems, drove into the unit still good. looked at some excess wiring which was attached to nothing so cut 2 cable ties and then decided to put her up on the ramps and thats when it all went wrong. She just wouldn't go into drive!!! only reverse and neutral but wouldn't go any further into drive, so decided to remove all the old toad alarm(which didn't work) and the immobiliser set up. what a load of bad wiring,poor connections, but thats done and ready for a better system at a later date. But the problem is still there and the car still won't to go into drive, she is now up on ramps ready for further investigation. Not sure what the fault is but seems like a mechanical stop. has any one here got any gems of wisdom on this fault? all help gratefully received. I know there is several issues with these auto boxes and a few of you here have had a lot of hair pulling and swearing moments, so I would assume quite a bit of knowledge is out there. All fuses are ok in the kick panel and the fluid is at the right level. going to have a though poke and prod at the linkage tonight and hopefully its an external problem not an internal one, other wise not only does that mean a whole heap of work but would mean me missing Beaulieu :scared::scared::thumbdown:

Hi all looking forward to this, car just went through MOT with no problems, so car just needs a clean and hopefully the stereo. Will we all need the stand pass? If so, where do we obtain one from?

When I got the Zed last year it came with a spare set of front callipers which had been painted lime green, initially thought that would be awesome, but now all that is gone and have now been painted red. looks so much nicer still trying to get the NISSAN in white to look right but needs a bit more time. In for MOT today and whilst there the garage is going to look at why I have a drone at around 2k revs, car sounds awesome but at 40/50 mph can be really annoying, so looks like a couple of silencers pre back box. also fibre glassing a centre console to hold a double din unit, this has been a long time project just haven't put all my effort into it, so hopefully I will have it all fitted for the drive down to beaulieu.

Went last year and was a great day, started off meeting at Tesco and driving in on mass felt really good to be part of the club So would like to put my name down as well
