  1. Hi Luke Are you still breaking this car?? As it seems that you have not replied to a lot of us on this thread. Still waiting to hear about the blue door glass and upper door strips from the 10th July Regards Stuart
  2. Hi Luke Any news for any of us on the bits that we have asked about?? Stuart
  3. Hi Luke Just chasing up again with reference to the following Bypass pipes upper and lower Assuming it is a LWB 2+2 blue glass for both doors upper outer door strips ones that sit on top of the door on the outside. feel bad tbh that i have to keep asking the same question. Hopefully you will be able to answer my queries and get back to me regards Stuart
  4. Hi Luke it’s the 2 aluminium pipes that are on the front of the block the upper one has the 2 coolant temp sensors in it. Any news on the glass and upper door strips Regards Stuart
  5. Hi just recieved the water bypass pipes from banzai breakers and there pretty corroded and not what I was expecting, so if yours are still available and in good condition could you send some pics and let me know the price cheers Stuart
  6. Hi Si Sounds like a good idea if the seats are being redone tbh would need to know the price soon as i am just in the throws of having cam belt, water pump radiator etc done so funds might start being tight. Also depends when my interior is going to start? Stuart
  7. Ok did see you had gone a bit manic with loads of enquiries. But good work looks like everyone pleased with there purchases.
  8. No worries dude fully understand. Just like to get things when it is pressing and not wait around as never sure if you have missed one somewhere else lol Any news on that blue door glass?
  9. Hi thanks for getting back but have now sourced a set from banzai breakers Stuart
  10. Thanks Andrew I have seen that post and have requested the relevant parts pluss door glass and I am awaiting his reply Cheers
  11. re wired the broken wire to the single connector temp sensor and for the first time in two years the temp needle moves on the cluster, happy days. Also moved the PTU near the air intake under the front nose, so when i re build the front end after the timing belt replacement it will look a bit tidier. will need to make a bracket to hold it in place.
  12. Good news is replaced the two coolant sensor after repairing broken wire and for the first time in two years my temp gauge started moving
  13. Radiator ordered and both bypass pipes ordered from banzai breakers £30 delivered Now looking at ordering cam belt kit with belt tensioner and 2idlers for 280 thinks it’s a gates kit Can still get water pump direct from Nissan £87 plus vat. So lots of money on bits will have to do the work myself now lol
  14. Hi gents I am after a replacxement bypass pipe the one that holds the 2 coolant temp sensors, just removed mine and where it joins the block it is corroded around the sealing groove. I am hopeing that one of you here might have a spare one knocking around? Stuart
  15. Gary just got back to me 5-7 days 126.50 +vat for the new radiator
  16. Hi Also just read through the post and noticed you had blue glass in drivers doors. Is this still available and the strip that sits on top of the door against the glass. Is the car a manual or auto as I am after a radiator as well, mine is a n/a auto and I know that manual rads are different Stuart
  17. Hi not sure what you have left. But I am after the bypass aluminium pipes at the front of the block with the coolant sensors in (upper) and poss the lower one that holds the thermostat as both mine are corroded. Stuart
  18. have ordered new couplers and clips, will reuse lower pipe but need to source an upper one. i have emailed Gary about the radiator but he needs my vin number. Also contacted Jimmer at powerzed for price on cam belt replacement, even though mine has only done like 4k in 12 years it is 12 years old and the idler looks like its breaking up. looks like an expensive job tbh but i would at least know it was all done right. if it was just replacing the bits i think I would be ok its all the set up afterwards and the peace of mind that comes from someone with his level of experience completing the job 100%
  19. Hi bit of an update got all the pipes off and have found lots of corrosion on the couplers and up and Lee bypass pipes. Also the upper the one that connects to the short rubber pipes has corrosion around the groove that seals to the block. So I need a replacement one if any of you lovely people has a spare one knocking around I would like to give it a new home. Think the timing belt idler looks suspect as well. What do you guys think? So a little water leak looks like it is turning into a complete hose radiator and poss timing belt and water pump replacement
  20. looking nice and badge less nose
  21. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F142618064967 Is this the rad cap u bought? I don’t mind going silicone,so good advice on the coolant type. I will be getting the bypass hoses off later today so should be able to see where the leak is coming from hopefully. I also want to do the water delete from the plenum as well at some point. Where is a good place to get a set of the silicone water pipes from?
  22. Sorry to hear your getting out of the Z field of dreams or nightmares as some have, think mine might be starting down that road  If you have a set of good front driving/fog lights would be interested also a front bumper poss? Stuart
  23. Did you replace the stubby couplers and radiator in the end? if so where did you get them from? the coupler had a quote from Nissan dealer at over £40 each. By the way mines an n/a auto Also if i was going down the road of replacing all hoses is it best to get OEM or buy off the shelf pipe and cut to size? If OEM where would i get them from? Nissan dealer?
