  1. WOW wow and double wow I have about 35 1/18 scale models like these and would really love to make some diorama like that very skilful
  2. As the zed has been off the road this year I didn't re-subscribe but in the new year it will be back on the road where I can subscribe again and look into making a few of these

  4. Ive been busy on my new project converting a t5 panel van to a day van, before insulating it with rockwool I used 3mm cork gasget material comes in sheets, glued this to the panel of the van and wow surprised at the difference I may use it on the zed

Hi there Oilman, Ive always used the pro s 10w 50 for the zed http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-1145-silkolene-pro-s-10w-50-ester-synthetic-oil-for-high-performance-engines.aspx ever since I had the engine rebuild and has been a great choice, I appreciate im going off topic from the zed but would you recommend the pro s 5w 40 for my 2005 Porsche Carrera s 33k miles 3.8 engine kind regards Dewi
  6. hi matey I have the avcr in mine but not used the zed for 2 years now :blink: with the AVCR you really do need to set it up right and have all the parameters working before you start playing with the boost as someone here blew there engine with the settings not right about 3 years ago if I remember, I found all the info on mine from google about setting and also 300zx.org I think have a look there, also there is a us site that was very helpful sorry for the lack of info but its all I can remember when I set mine up, have fun matey but most of all do be careful with the settings

I have had a few wheels welded, one on an rs4 alloy wheel that were notorious for splitting at the rim, after welding it split again, then welded again, and again split so they had to go, next up were my Radius R1 alloys off my Nissan after a very nasty accident with a kerb I had to have them welded, the guy I used was very good indeed and he also commented on how good the material of the wheel was, saying that I was looking for some wheels on ebay for my vw t5 these had a cracked spoke and im afraid spokes were frowned upon for welding even after calling round many wheel repairers and many forums I couldn't find anyone.

Gents now i have my trader ins im able to put the zed on the road, its been stood for over a year, started it yesterday and fired within a split second awsome what should i be looking for or changing if i now want to put it on the road, its been garaged throughout its hibernating time with the odd wash, oil i would deffo say but brake fluid, coolant ect do i need to change these?

After getting countless bits of rust in my eye from the Zed and at work grinding welding ect & the dreaded needle at the hosp without blinking, some good piece of advice i was given i would like to pass on....... you only have one pair of eyes so take care of them now i always wear saftey specs under the car or goggles at work, 2 mins of hassle putting them on saves hours in the hosp waiting room and that bloody long 5mins without blinking :laugh:

  19. Deffo the best forum on the web withoubt a doubt, im also on a few diffrent forums with the bmw, porsche and now a vw t5 and to be honest this is where i get more than enough friendly advice on any subject, a massive heads up for everyone here making it a great place to be, kep it up guys :)

  21. ive always used clean machine from autoglym and then when its still wet spray with rubber and vinyl care i think it was brings it up absolutley lovley
