  1. Back for another year!
  2. Colour coded and tidied up the engine bay mostly this week. Relocated the ptu as well as refreshing the loom and plugs with new loom tape, spiral loom wrap as well as using contact cleaners on all plugs. Nearly finished the covers and colour coding.
  3. This company give 3 year warranty on the powder coat! The laquer they used is clear powder coat.
  4. What is ot then? They said they diamond cut the lips?
  5. I had the company powder coat and diamond cut the wheels as the fronts was originally all black and the rears centre was silver. I wanted them done properly and this is the result :(
  6. I would never use this company again and strongly advise to be very wary of the quality and customer care after they take your money. My dealing's with this company was not good from the start. Originally contacted them for a quote and they told me the process of the work they do which sounded professional. They did not mention or does it state on their website that the powder coat can react with diamond cut finish! I booked the wheels in to be dropped off on the Saturday before 2pm when they close. I arrived around 1pm to find the guy had gone home. Great start! Since getting them home I noticed all 4 wheels have reacted as well as 2 of the wheel's poorly powder coated. I contacted the company and took a wheel down to show them the problem. I was told that day by a member of staff to bring the wheels back so they can correct the problem. A few days later I take or 4 wheels to them to be told that this is a common problem and they will charge me £100 to laquer them again. Not only that but they are happy with the standard of work. And because the powder coating is done by hand missing parts of the wheel can happen? This is not professional as they obviously haven't been checked or should of left the shop in this condition in the first place. Happy to take your money without warning you of the possible outcome of the results! Poor quality, poor service never again!
  7. Yea possibly Chris but he has a TT bumper fitted now.
  8. Hi all, I have a AEM ems serial guage that displays everything off the aem ems ecu. I'm not sure if the guage can be adapted to work off other ecu or not. URL: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=300854862315&alt=web £100 delivered
  9. Hi all, Decided to sell my AEM wide band air/fuel guage and sensor kit. Comes with everything needed. This guage is a premium brand that uses bosch sensors. The guage is also customisable with different colour fronts and bezels. These guages was fitted to my car buy didn't see more than a few hours use as the car didn't even make it on the road. URL: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=111819086333&alt=web As new including the sensor as seen in the pic! £120 delivered ono
  10. Possibly a smaller tablet I'm not sure but I removed the top din as the tablet practically replaces the head unit. I can still use the cubby whole at the bottom as well as use the controls buttons for the tablet if needed I choose the nexus 7 because it was better performance than the Samsung as well as thinner and had no brand name on it so it looked more oem. I still need to to finish some final filler work to get the edges as close to the tablet as possible to look oem. But it's 90% finished now. I add more up to date pics when possible. A few in the making pics...
  11. I've done the same in my zed but didn't need to hack the side or bottom off the fascia
  12. Wouldn't want to even start adding up the bill for both of my zed's
  13. Thanks for the nice comments everyone. More to come by next year :)
  14. Loosing enthusiasm to do jobs on the car! Stop and starting jobs is getting on my nerves as I've not had much time. I adjusted the coilover's last night as they was a bit to soft and also fitted the alloys after having them painted and diamond cut again.
  15. This weekend i layed pretty much on my back stripping off all the original stone chip from the underside then treated a few stone chip blisters then painted the whole underside with hammerite. Such a horrible job! After that i sprayed a few fresh coats of chip guard to protect it all for a few more year's. I was impressed with how clean the underside of the car is! Just a few stone chip blisters forming that was easily removed with a wire brush. I'm very happy with the results :)
  16. Thanks Dougal thats very interesting! I will look in to that modification when I do some more works on the underside. For now I mounted the billet filter in a similar location to Oem bit out of the way of the rear engine bay skin I'm fitting.
  17. I would love to have a purpose built workshop! I had a 2000 Sq feet unit with 4 other people for 8 years. About 3 years ago when I moved to my new house to save money i down sized to a 18 x 10.5 concrete garage with a 14 x 6 shed beside it to house the tool box, tools, benches and spares. I had to dump or sell so much stuff which I wish I kept hold of sometimes but I just don't have the space. When we move again I've already stated I want a bigger garage / workshop.
  18. Unknown mate on Oem. But the new one installed is 300lpg plus.
  19. Hi all, I've decided to sell my AEM ems uego series 1 stand alone ecu which is plug and play in to the 300zx OEM loom. This ecu has a Base map on it but I wouldn't advise using it for more than a start up if the engine specs are similar to what I had. I have the ECU which is the later uego model as well as all the sensors required. MAP sensor, Air temp sensor and wide band AFR. As some of you know I went to have the car mapped with this ecu that led to find ou that my engine wasn't built correctly. Soon after that I stripped the car and most of the parts having just been sitting. £600 delivered. I do also have supporting AEM uego link guages also that link to the ecu. I have 1 Wide band guage and sensor! This allows you to measure the AFR ratio's for both banks. I also have a series guage that relays all the ECU information to the guage! You can set alarms etc to monitor all of the engines reading's. Oil pressure, water temp etc etc. £200 Thanks Dan
  20. Hi all, I have an series 3 spec steering wheel for sale. In good condition no wear marks or damage. Can send with or with out the centre not fussed! But one of the plastic clips on the back is broken. It doesn't make a difference to the wheel in any way still fully functional. £45 delivered
  21. Thanks Dougal! It's fuel filter related again as the one I'm looking at is rated to 6 bar! So should be fine I guess. ;)
  22. Hi all, Does the TT pump raise the fuel pressure more than 6Bar at any time? Running 14- 15PSI of boost on a pretty much stock engine. Thanks Dan
  23. Ned the zed! :: 1993 Nissan 300ZX (Dasstech) Import SWB manual TT (2015-10-14 18:37:38)
