Hi Douglas where did you locate your filter to? I'm not doing any major engine modifications as of yet but want to tidy up the engine bay. Thanks Dan

Fuel filter spec's
Hi, Does anyone know the fuel filter flow and filtration spec's? I'm going to relocate the fuel filter and I'm looking at various different hi flow Syntec billet aluminium filters that range from 30 micron to 80 micron in filtration. As well as 6 to 10 bar of pressure? Thanks Dan

Bits you don't see that make a big difference.
All installed in the inner and outer panels. Forgot to take pics of the doors but I did also replace the plastic weather sheeting on the doors that was removed when being worked on. Cleaned all the carpet when it was out of the car! Shocking how much dirt is hidden in the carpet.

Hi all, With all the body work mods I also wanted to make the Z feel more like most big luxurious cars. Cutting out road noise as well as making the car feel more solid. Also by having 12j and 10j wide tyres, poly/solid bushes though out and quaife diff/leader gear set up I was experiencing droning from the straight cut leader gear and more road noise from the tyre's. So I set out to fully sound deadening the car using 2 types of sound deadening. I used: Silent Coat 2mm Damping Mat uses mass loading to lower panel resonance and absorb structural vibrations, Stop those nasty rattles, eliminate road and outside noise, insulate your vehicle and dramatically improve the sound of your car interior. 8mm Dodo Pro Barrier MLV includes a closed cell foam layer to perfectly decouple the MLV from the panel and block the transmission of unwanted sound such as road, engine and exhaust noise. The results are excellent the car feels so much more solid and drivable by cutting out pretty much all of the unwanted sounds that can ruin a drive. The only down side is the added weight of around 50-60kg but to be honest I dont mind the extra weight that enables me to enjoy the car rather than can't wait to get out. Maybe I'm getting to old haha.

Think Nissan might be running out...
When I ordered my 99 spec bumper last year it was on back order from Japan.

2 long afternoons detailing
Ive bought various products bit used the following this time round. Like you say with top up of coatings the paint should be clean and protected all year round. Like yourself I've had some comments from the neighbours peeking in the garage. Some think I'm mad haha. Autobrite purple velvet shampoo. Autobrite cherry glaze polish. Dirty joks snow foam. Autobrite tonic grime remover. 3m clay bar. Poor boys clay lube. Blackfire blackice sealant. Autoglym HD wax. Autobrite project 32 spray detailer. Poorboys wheel wax/sealant. Autobrite fall out iron x cleaner. Poorboys trim/tyre sealant. Autobrite G101 all purpose cleaner. Monza glass sealant. Poorboys interior cleaner. Autobrite leather cleaner. Blackfire cream leather sealant. Autosol metal paste. The garage smells like a sweet shop after applying all the different fragrances from the different products. I've noticed the resolution of the pics are toned down quite a bit which is a shame. Looks even better in person if I do say myself.

2 long afternoons detailing
Hi all, Just thought I'd share a few pics since getting my car back from Dasstech and JAE at the weekend. After the show I set about detailing the car for winter storage! I've spent 2 very long evening's after work going though the many stages of detailing. I'm new to the in depth detailing world and this was my first attempt from start to finish. I found it very therapeutic cleaning the car though it's stages from start to finish. What do you think?
