  2. If I was rebuilding my engine I'd rather buy uprated parts. Buying oem pistons and rods will no doubt be the same or even more expensive to buy. It makes sense to buy forged for future proofing the engine.

  4. I thought you're zed was white until now. It's nice I've seen it on a few audi before as well as the other grey on a A4 RS that looked excellent
  5. Thanks for the info guy's knew there was more than 1 grey! I've see a db9 in grey today it was really nice similar to the SLR grey.

  9. Hi all, So I'm having works done to the car and while it's been at the garage I've been thinking about changing the colour. I'm pretty set on going Grey but I can't decide on what grey? So far I've been tore between: Mercedes SLR Lamborghini Mustang Eleanor Grey I'm finding myself liking colours because of the car but it's the colour I'm after. What do you guys think would suit the zed?

    Hi all I've decided to sell some of my parts from my build that's now been stripped! I have a pair of universal Garrett GT28RS 64AR turbo's with 2.5 inlet to match 2.5 uprated pipework, They have also been ceramic coated at an extra cost. They will come with the uprated 1 bar HKS actuators and brackets and oil lines. These turbo's was fitted to my build but the car didn't get to see the road, The engine was only running for a few hours while trying to achieve a base map on the AEM stand alone ecu. The ceramic coating has a few chips but that's it. Sold Greddy type R 4 row front mount intercooler with pipework yet again not used but was fitted to the car! This is a large intercooler that's best suited to large turbo's. Taking a big loss on this as it was over £1000 new. £500. Sold Brand new oem TT sump still has nissan stickers on £80 delivered. Brand new Apexi cone air filter £60 delivered. Sold Brand new LWB fuel tank shield £35 Delivered Genuine 18" Blitz Alloys In excellent condition 9J ET28 £550 ono Soon to be available Pace Side mount intercoolers in excellent condition £300 +delivery Soon to be available Genuine unused 99 spec rear lights and centre panel. Centre panel has a slight scratch that may polish out £350 ono delivered. Sold 350z Brembo front calipers off a 9000 mile 350z.   14. I've got the v2 or v3 AMS 2.5 pipes and didn't have any real fitment issue's. Having a Koyo rad made it harder.

Hi all, I've decided to sell my ultra rare and expensive genuine split rims They are Blitz type 01 18" 9J ET23 all round that sit perfectly on the arches with no rubbing! multi spoke design allow for large calipers and disc's. The tyres ideally need replacing rears have around 2mm tread on rear and about 5 mm on the front but have wear on the inside. 255 on rear 235 on front. £550

Hi all, For those I know and others that have followed my original build of Ted for 7years will know that after the full restoration all the blood, sweat, money and tears going in to the car failed at the last stages when I went to get the car mapped for the first time. I made the hard decision to not carry on, it wasnt an easy decision to make but my responsibilities have changed over the year's with a little one running around and a wedding on its way. The disappointment of picking the car up mainly in boxes was to much so i just left most of all the parts in boxes in my garage and shed until today where i thought it's time to move on and decide what to keep for my new Zed and what to sell. Since buying my new zed I have transferred all the suspension parts and running gear over as these parts were to large to leave sitting around plus I'd rather use the parts than sell them. The new car this time is being worked on by a garage so my OCD won't kick in by taking the car to pieces again and replacing or uprating every part like last time lol. My rule this time is not to do any major works to the engine for at least 2 year's so i can enjoy the car and not end up in a mess again. Now I need to decide whether to sell all my engine parts or not. In the back of my mind I'm thinking of having another monster engine build done over a course of time but this all takes time and money. What would you guys do? Sell or keep the part's that are taking up room? Thanks Dan
