Starting the rebuilt engine tomorrow. few questions
Hi im hoping to start my car tomorrow for the first time since the rebuild. Im excited but also a bit nervous as its make or brake time. My questions are. 1. What degree does the throttle position sensor need to be set at? 2. The same for the C.A.S unit? 3. What is stock oil pressure? If I get the car running what shall I do? I've had many different suggestions. I want to check for leaks etc before I have the car run in on the rollers. 1. Let the car idle up to engine temp then turn it off? 2. Dont let the car idle keep revving it on and off up to 3000 revs? 3. Rev it hard though the rev range? Thanks Dan

What mods do you have? Good luck :)

unable to boost or hold boost
What actuators are you using? Could be weak or set up wrong. But I have also heard about the penny catching with the pe turbo's

waterless coolant
I've looked in to this it does look good 0 pressure in the system is good. I know someone who is sponsored by them and is using it in his winning time attack car with no issues.

doolz v2 extension problem
Hi ive tried to fit my doolz v2 setup today to find that the pipe work hits the back of my intercooler so I turned the doolz pipe so it does not rub against the fmic. The problem im now getting is the silcone extensions kink under the heag light because of the angle its sitting at. Ive done a search and see people have problems with the doolz hitting the fmic but nothing about the restrictions caused by the pipe kinking under the head light.* Will this cause any problems being kinked? Ive been thinking of doing away with the doolz and fitting an air filter on each inlet. But then I loose out on getting even air flow to each turbo. Has anyone done this? Cheers Dan

Having a big clear out
Well im moving out of my unit earlier than I wanted due to a lot of brake ins around the site im not chancing it. Over the last 6 years I can't believe how much ive been hoarding for the zed over the years lots of it is no longer any use to me. Ive been finding parts ive forgot about or thought id lost as wel asl replaced. Im going to have a big for sale/give away thread of parts soon from engine brackets/parts, pipes, interior parts, body parts, running gear and suspension parts to after market bits that I need to clear out quick. If you have anything in mind let me know? Cheers Dan

boost creep with 3"down pipes
Could it be that the divider is stoping the waste gate opening up all the way? Im sure I remember Jaffa having a problem with boost creep due to his down pipes?

boost creep with 3"down pipes
Hi all. I keep reading about people having boost creep problems with bigger turbos at high boost and rpm using the 3" down pipes. Has anyone come across this problem? I hear the solution is to remove the divider in the down pipes. Cheers dan

Cheers guys I got 1 of those flexi tools but the grinding stones I have are not man enough. Just ordered some die grinders hopefully this will work. I had them made a while ago just need to get the ball rolling again and get the car finished. Not touched the car since building a work shop and garage for the car at home. The unit I had was creating problems
