  1. I was talking about the ducts that feed the stock air box that runs under the headlights to the wings.
  2. You can leave the lower air box ducts in there as it requires you to take the bumper off and get to the wings. Just unscrew the box from the maf and the mounts next to the headlights and pry out.
  3. I will quote this from JeffTT Keep it within safe limits and it shouldn't harm the car whatsoever.
  4. Alright, could you have a chat to Alex etc and see if we can do it around late October or early November would be ideal, but it all depends on you.
  5. I'm not him but here's a pic from our convoy a few weeks back
  6. Put the originals back in, I wouldn't even drive it with the larger injectors without being mapped.
  7. Welcome Matt, I do like a shortie myself
  8. Damn, sound to me like of of the alignment or tension arms just gave out and made the wheel go wonky. I haven't seen how big the sill dent is but a slide hammer of sorts might be able to pull it out. But surely if the battery tray is dented then there must be some damage in the strut tower, which might be a safety concern or at least not line up straight? If there is a cheap solid shell for sale that would probably be you're best bet. As Gary said, you're not hurt and all is not lost. I'm sure there are some round you that wouldn't mind spending a Sunday swapping parts over to a new shell.
  9. This is why you keep it a secret from the missus ;) Perhaps TheRealNips, winnoze, zx300twinturbo, BenM might be interested. Maybe we could even drag Steve (cybernet) to join us. :)

  11. Hi Matt, Are you talking about coilovers or stock suspension. Depending who you go to, usually £550+ for good quality coilovers. MeisterR coilovers have a 10% discount on here with 8/6 spring rate with rubber top mounts but I haven't checked to see how much they are currently. What are you looking for in the new set, handling, comfort, ride height? If you want you could slap a post up in newbies to introduce yourself...
  12. Whatever goes really but cannot guarantee in the zed.
  13. Did you wheelspin on the start then? I know the turbos wouldn't have really spun up until the end of the 60ft but still you got beaten by an na Are you running bog standard street tires?

I don't know. Have a go, it might work.

Because Apple is dumb  Its something to do with one of the headers in the image file which describes the auto-rotate of the device. and vBulletin misinterprets it and puts it the wrong orientation or some jazz. Saving it in paint just saves it as a simple bitmap.

Open in paint, click save, upload. Try it, i bet it will work.

Pretty sure its an issue with vbulletin and iPhones. I don't know of any fix unless you want to upload your photos to photobucket, but that's a pain of course.
  18. My logic is that if it goes sour, then you can still buy new studs afterwards. Worth a try IMO but make sure you have the nut on before you grind it otherwise you will never get it back on the thread.
  19. Would it be easier to grind them shorter? with the nut on of course so you don't spoil the end thread.
  20. For the street that would be a pretty harsh ride. You can buy different springs and swap them I believe but then it would probably be cheaper to buy your preferred spring rate to start. Can you settle for a very harsh ride or do you want a more pothole friendly suspension.
  21. Don't worry about it, decided I didn't want to stir anything. ;)
  22. It's a bit different for photo bucket.
  23. She looks lovely
  24. This might help: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=183453 Or on mobile you can use an app called Tapatalk which can upload images easily. Zed world was jefftt on here but he retired to Portugal last year, so now main mechanics are Lee in Shrewsbury or jimmer in Bristol.
