To every body (MY Z group frinds )
ok let me try here You have a sharp ( spearpoint...good eh ) sound coming from your engine and power is down and you have low oil pressure after removing the wastegate solenoid pipe I would go for you still have a broken piston in there...do a compression test COMPRESSION TEST.

Is there anyway to get pops and bangs
you dont want to much pops and bangs, fit bovs and you might get one or two when you lift off boost and the bovs dump and its still fueling for the dumpes airmass

New to the Z world
heres where the fun starts Do not use a speedo converter to unlimit the car, do the resistor mod ( I used the converter box and the gear changes went a bit so did the resistor mod and its right as rain, once resistor mod is done you are best having a aftermarket chip fitted to remove the limit and pop the redline up to 7200rpm ( i can recomment andy P as he did mine ) The oil thing has been covered I paid 440 for a full belt change and water pump replacement Welcome to the Z

Tyres and my budget findings
I have decided to post simply because this latest set of tyres I have fitted are superb. The story so far Bought the car and realised the rubber fitted to it had reached its last legs ( bare metal showing through ), worried about wether the camber was right due to undue wear on the inners of the tyres I decided to try budgets to see if I had a problem. I went for the nankang ns2 rear and khumo front, this was ok but no great shakes, when these were gone I tried the Avon ZZ3 all round set up and found them only as good as the nankangs and khumos so not worth the extra pennies. On the advice of a friend I then tried the Pilot sports and found these to be very good tyres indeed but couldnt really justify the extra cash per tyre change and asking the missus to go stand on corners and look inviting just wasnt cutting it in the tyre situation, finally to the last set , these tyres have been fitted with new 18" alloys but the performance in the wet has so far been better than the pilot sports and all for a budget price as well.......the tyres I speak of are Falken 452's and would recomend them to anyone, cant fault em...Take a bow falken

cheers legrath , that hits the spot mate , was thinking 265 might be too wide but as they are only 2 quid more expensive than the 255's was gonna get the 265's

Idiot
people see this car and love to see how close to a real supercar their saxo is, ignore it, use reasons not to plant it , I now no longer race if I dont think it will serve any purpose, i.e teaching a beemer driver they arnt god etc As said before do not be tempted to race in the winter...its not fun pooing yourself on every bend, treat the power with respect After tuning mods you have another reason not to plant it all the time...8gallons per mile on full chat HEHE
