Question for all the auto to manual conversion cars
I just got mine done and have just put it onto datascan and have noticed the timing readout on it is now 25 when warm at idle, I remember on birds his was 25 as well and his was a conversion, any people out there with a datascan or such and a converted car can you check yours for me and see if its a common thing.

Vandals and last night
About 10.30pm last night i heard shouting going on outside the house and went out to find some little prick and 2 of his chavved up mates trying to break the drivers window on my Z as well as em wrenching the mirror all the way back, to say i went a bit loopy was a understatement and went for em, little shits, luckily for them im a big bloke and not the fastest and all i managed to do was catch one of em round the head as he ran away. this really pisses me off and i waited up all night to see if the little cnuts came back ,which they didnt.I have decided that this is enough and am moving my car to a secure parking area which charges £50 a month for the privelege, if I ever see the little pricks I will take my £50 out of their skin. Rant over.

darwin urban myths
Taken from the darwin site This guy pushed his motorcycle from the patio into his living room, where he began to clean the engine with some rags and a bowl of gasoline, all in the comfort of his own home. When he finished, he sat on the motorcycle and decided to give his bike a quick start and make sure everything was still OK. Unfortunately, the bike started in gear, and crashed through the glass patio door with him still clinging to the handlebars. His wife had been working in the kitchen. She came running at the fearful sound, and found him crumpled on the patio, badly cut from the shards of broken glass. She called 911, and the paramedics carried the unfortunate man to the Emergency Room. Later that afternoon, after many stitches had pulled her husband back together, the wife brought him home and put him to bed. She cleaned up the mess in the living room, and dumped the bowl of gasoline in the toilet. Shortly thereafter, her husband woke up, lit a cigarette, and went into the bathroom for a much-needed relief break. He sat down and tossed the cigarette into the toilet, which promptly exploded because the wife had not flushed the gasoline away. The explosion blew the man through the bathroom door. The wife heard a loud explosion and the terrible sound of her husband's screams. She ran into the hall and found her husband lying on the floor with his trousers blown away and burns on his buttocks. The wife again ran to the phone and called for an ambulance. The same two paramedics were dispatched to the scene. They loaded the husband on the stretcher and began carrying him to the street. One of them asked the wife how the injury had occurred. When she told them, they began laughing so hard that they dropped the stretcher, and broke the guy's collarbone.

Silverstone Poll - Maximum Parade Speed?
I personally believe this has been exploded out of all proportion, the speed is a maximum not a expected speed, it is up to you on the day what speed you will travel down that straight and no overtaking is allowed on a parade lap. Your concern about doing 100mph( if that is your want)with a unknown driver beside you is founded but I have to question about motorway driving and the speeds we overtake hundreds of unknown drivers every day. Only my opinion
