  1. Det sounds a lot like a tin can with small pebbles in it rattling around, when i went back to using normal unleaded I tried using high boost but got det so I am back on vpower, find somewhere with high walls either side of you then floor it and the det sound is more noticeable as the walls act as a amp chamber for the noise.
  2. Might of been better if it had been this ginger from HP eh?

  4. easy way to check is to turn off the ebc and fit 1.2mm boost jets and see if the wastegate has any problems then, if not its a ebc fault somewhere

  21. I actually like the way it heatsup the cabin, mine forces more air to the feet and centre console than the side pods.
  22. thats what i was looking for andy, so that means on a chipped car with open loop running the maps will be rich for standard boost and fuel consumption high
  23. how is it set for open loop though?
  24. are we gonna talk about open and closed loop operation here cause im interested on the open loop fuel maps on the chips and wether it is just a set map of fuel to rpm or does it include boost info as well? if its a set then with low boost on open loop it will overfuel quite a bit.
  25. I got 4.8 last time i did the speed check but that was when it was a auto, now its a manual my poor gearshifts will take that to 5 secs plus....lol
