  6. the item that came out number one in the test was this stuff it raised the fuels ron rating bu a full 3 points I.E 95 ron to 98 http://www.powerenhancer.co.uk/section.php/5/1/octane-boosters this test wasnt about extra power it was all about knock ( dett ) it was run at a independent site using a knock engine ( engine specially put together for testing of dett ), the point of the test was that if youre going to raise your boost then you need to do something to stop dett occuring ( its doesnt say that if you have dett allready it will stop it because you need to find the cause of the dett first and put that right) , the article makes no claim on power outputs just the increase of the fuels knock resistance with the additive in it, youre all thinking well whats the point of that and its just safety, the overiding factor is a tank of optimax costs £10 extra over standard unleaded and this additive costs £15 quid extra so optimax still wins out, will i use this additive....yes but only on track days where i want a bit of extra safety when im pushing the engine to its limits

  13. you know its just not fair , i tried eating ice cream and to be honest it hurt to much,im finding warm water is the key , it works for about 5 mins then i need another cup of warm water, problem with this is im pissing for britian
  14. Last tuesday I had my tonsils out, everyone I met said how painfull it was and how I would be in serious pain for about two weeks, first two days after the operation are fine , in fact a breeze, I thought to myself if this is all its got then no problem, then along came friday and with it the agony, from friday to today the pain has been really intense, so bad even all my teeth are in sympathy with it and they all start to hurt like every one of them has toothache, decide to go see the local quack to see if I can get any stronger pain relief, so in I go tell him the symptoms and he asks what pain relief I am already on , so I tell him , Tramodol, cocodomol and diclofenic, he looks at me a bit strange and then asks " and youre sure you still get pain because what youre taking is what is given to cancer patients for the pain so I shouldnt feel anything" I assure him I am in fact a " lot " of pain and he looks down my throat, think its the first time I have ever seen a doctor go white and mutter " bloody hell", apparently when they took my tonsils out there must of been quite a bit of infected flesh with them as they have gone about the back of my mouth like a cave excavation and cleared the back of it almost bare, the doc joked that if they had gone any further they would of popped through my ears...lol, yeah im finding that funny. Downside....there is no more pain relief I can be given, im maxed out , if I am in pain then thats the way it is, because of the amount of tissue removal and the area of it, hes given me antibiotics anyway as a security blanket , yeah im chuffed . Upside.....in the last 4 days I have eaten 2 slices of toast and a slice of bacon, the diet starts now...lol
  15. a free flowing exhaust isnt just for power , it also reduces the risk of detonation at higher boost
  16. I think they will say they are very sorry and you will get your money back, and then you can put away the baseball bat and leave them alone, what tossers, the not changeing plugs is crap.

  21. Got those aero vu wipers last week and got around to fitting them yesterday( still in a lot of pain due to tonsillitus operation so couldnt be arsed until now ) They are a lot quieter in operation than the previous metal type blades and the sweep seems smoother , the water removal is better and the blades dont lift at speeds so they still offer the same performance if it rains and you are at speed, and they look a lot better, took the chance to paint the arms again as well.
  22. Rather amusing http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rGa29kPBbp4
  23. there is a crappy way of doing it without removing plenum, but to be honest it makes sense to take the plenum off and replace hoses at the same time
