  1. Art, are any others intending to meet up to go in convoy at NP services? I may take a short detour if enough folk are cruising up?
  2. Getting Purple Haze all sparkling for the Coventry meet on Sunday, a local chap, Supreme Clean Valeting just worked his fingers to the bone detailing her to pop in the sun, fantastic job and cant wait for Sunday....just hope there is no rain now ;-)
  3. Nice one Tony, be good to catch up with Chris again as well, come on Joel, get your name down mate :-)
  4. Hi, I will PM you my details just now, cheers
  5. Anyone have of a photo of how you are to store the targa tops in the boot. Got all the bags and straps, just wondering if there is a set way to store them properly?
  6. McAuley and Evans, Boing Boing, Baggie Boys...:-)
  7. Great Day out, must do this again Joely, thanks for organizing mate, well done. Cheers to all who attended. The drive there and back was a blast, Nemisizx and I had great fun going in convoy, sedatley overtook ;-) a Pontiac and a mustang GT at one point, there faces was a picture!
  8. Thanks Chris, that will be latest, hopefully 8:30-8:45, ill bring my brolly ;-(
  9. Just spoke with Paul and we are meeting up at Baldock Services on the A1 early Sunday for the drive down, taking the scenic route rather than M25. Hopefully the rain will hold off, looking forward to meeting you guys, please save us a couple of spaces on the stand, we will be there around 9ish.
  10. Is that so, I have one fitted and its a PITA! I just use the hand break to cancel it each time when I know the turbos have been off boost.
  11. Happy Birthday Ian, all the best mate!
  12. A short clip of them lit up at dusk....
  13. Thanks for all the comments and advice everyone. The way Denty did it was to heat up the existing and they came away sweetly, the originals were supplied with enough of the original sealant to simply replace the lights as is, no problem at all. Must thank Phutumsh for a great job and Lee for fitting them in, I had wanted these Altia OEM parts since I first saw them in the forums, never thought I would have all 3 fitted and working, really happy with them and they stand out brilliantly at night, well happy.
  14. All fitted and working :-) Shades, sills and panel :-)
  15. Happy Birthday Lee, enjoy mate :-)
  16. Yep, you were right Ian, the camber bolt is adjusted totally and could not get it spot on, chap adjusted the toe to compensate for now. Should have listened to you mate, anyhow here's a couple of photos of her on the ramp.
  17. Pass received Joel, many thanks for the prompt reply, looking forward to seeing you all.
  18. Cheers Pete, just picked up 4 tyres and set a date for Wednesday at http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/about-blackboots.php for the 4 wheel alignment. My Zed seems to be quite well looked after before it was imported, and after speaking with Lee at LA Autos who has done a fair bit of aesthetic work on her recently, we are certain the adjusters will be fine, good point though. I confirmed with the company that there will be no hidden charges for repeat adjustment as some companies do and the team there seemed quite excited about me bringing in a 300zx, so fingers crossed all be well. Will let y'all know how it went....
  19. Thanks everyone, I am going to use wheels in motion/blackboots in Chesam so hopefully I can get it all arranged this week, just trying to clarify if I need to replace the top camber arm(s) or can I get away with the adjustment available with the standard set up??
  20. Hmmm, been looking into this, perhaps a specialist set up center is the way to go. Just for clarity, can anyone confirm the below is indeed the factory specs please? Here's the specs from the Nissan Service Manual: Unladen but with full fuel, radiator coolant, engine oil. Spare tyre, jack, hand tools and mats in position. Front Axle and Front Suspension: Camber -1.35' to -0.05' degrees Caster 9.00' - 10.30' degrees Toe-in 0 - 2 (0 - 0.08) mm (inch) Total Toe-in angle 0' - 11' degrees Kingpin Inclination 12.10' - 13.40' Front Wheel Turning Angle Inside/Outside 32 - 36 / 27 - 31 degrees Rear Axle and Rear Suspension: Camber -1.35' to -0.35' degrees Toe-in 0 - 4 (0 - 0.16) mm (inch) Total Toe-in angle 0' - 22' degrees
  21. Hi Joely, yep fitted when collected, so no idea of original settings. Will speak with quickfit to confirm its possible and they know what to do. They have this hunter set up. Car is as original so hopefully will be Ok. What is the camber 0 at rear and 1 at front?
  22. Oh dear, thanks Ian, trip up to Mr Dents in order then :-)
  23. Hi, I've just seen this wear on my rear p/s wheel!!! Any advice on what I need to do to prevent this when I fit new tyres would be most welcomed. How good is this hunter Hawkeye set up at quick fit? Cheers
